I think Cutie Pie is a formulaic, repetitive, poorly written mess. You're My Sky is so far superior in every way…
And in YMS they're realistic, flawed, relateable characters. Can you relate to anyone in Cutie Pie? Probably not, unless you're a super-rich person in a gay arranged marriage to a sadistic and abusive man. It could happen, I guess.

That's definitely fair.

It’s awful, yet I can’t stop watching it every week. Someone stop me! ^____^
It's just that Chap looks really, really, really good without a shirt on. And I'm shallow.

I think we all have different views on attractiveness, but Gawin is objectively beautiful. Anyone who doesn't think so is probably a lizard-alien in disguise, and even then, I think they're just lying to themselves.

I was just starting to get ovet my uke-with-sharp-object PTSD because of all the cooking-themed BLs where nobody cut themselves until the needle-prick scene in this. Now all the therapy I've undergone is out the window an I have to start over.

Can i start petition Vee deserve better than Dome?
It was easy to miss because he just said it in passing that he broke up with her. That's sort of cheap given how important that was to the story, and it made it hard to care about anything else. We know Pan is fine now. but she seems to fine that it doesn't make much sense that Vee has kept his distance. Time jumps have to be used carefully because they can really drain the life out of a story.

That the equivalent of the French cheek kiss - not what you'd rxprct of lovers in private who haven't seen each other in months.

Everybody on the show seems to be extra clumsy lol. I know when I fall I kiss a guy in a bath tub and now a couch…
And their teeth must be harder than Chap's abs.

So, even when the uke is a world-class tailor, he still can't be anywhere near a sharp object without injuring himself. I was going to suggest we do a drinking game where you have to take a sip everytime there's an accidental kiss, but we'd all die of alcohol poisoning.

This is profoundly awful. The only thing that saves it from recevining a score of 1 is how good Chap looks with his shirt off, which is hard to characterize as anything but spectacular, and is enough to make me at least skim through this to check for it. This episode appears to be mostly about the tragic loss of a pet turtle years ago.

It's a shame, because these two are totally adorable with each other behind the scenes in their promotional material - I could watch that for hours, but this series is so terrible that I suspect the producers are trolling us.

Dome and Vee deserved better. I must say I have to give Porsche his flowers.. his acting IMO was by far the best…
I agree - easily the MVP of the series.

Their conclusion was a laughable product placement. They didn't deserve such a pathetic ending.

What is with the weird sniff-kisses that have become a thing in BL lately? That's not actually a kiss, it's more like what a creepy old man does to underage girls. Also, Saen & Aii totally lost me - I don't believe there's anything real between them after a totally bloodless reunion like that.

And wait - Thorn and Fah were not BFs up to now? Then what... I'm confused.

That was a disappointing finale. For all the complex themes and characterization, the romances all ended with a whimper and no passion. They all seem thoroughly friendzoned.

That's more balanced than most people have been, but I think you're a little hard on the team. These are teenagers…
I do agree that meeting socially without Thorn is pretty low - I had forgotten about that. That was before he went to Tuan and was fairy unmotivated.

Fah asked Thorn to live with him, which is about as serious a show of commitment you can make - and he tried several times to fix the situation with Thorn - but in the end the problem was that Thorn was injured and Fah was not and Thorn resented him for that. Because the probblem was Fah's existence, there was nothing he could do but respect Thorn's wishes and wait for him. He didnt ever question his love for Thorn, he questioned whether or not they could be together, which is a fairly reasonable thought to have when your bf moves out without telling you and refuses to talk to you. If he hadn't had that thought, he wouldn't be a real person, he's be a saint.

One thoing to keep in mind here - this is a sports injury that only kept Thorn out of action for a few months, not his whole family dying of cancer. When you're that age 5 months can seem like a long time, but at that age you also think love is forever. Injury is part of being an athlete - it happens to everyone. If I were Thorn's bf and he treated me like that for something that relatively important (relative to a lifetime commitement to him), then I would question whether he really loved me, because that's serious narcissism.Thorn's life goal hasn't been basketball, but it always ways for Fah - it was Thorn that stopped supporting Fah, not the other way around. Not only that, but Thorn's behavior included very poor sportsmanship and phsyical violence.

Anyway, you've convinced me about the team, but I think Thorn is extremely lucky Fah stuck by him and forgave him, because Thorn didn't believe in their relationship enough to stay and work it out.

Thank You for this lovely review. Can You say, where to watch the full version? I watched in YouTube and I doubt…
I watched it legally on Ch3 Premium, but it's probably uploaded to the usual Asian pirate sites. I put the run times for the full episodes in the cut scenes summaries, so you can check to make sure what you find is a full-length copy. Most of them are around an hour & 15 min.

I liked that episode, but throwing a woman in at the last moment is so 2017. That's really disappointing, especially given how long it's taken for them to draw together.

It's really an excellent pairing, though - the class difference is really interesting, an Mork is so cute that it makes me cry a little. Tawan is well-drawn character, and a little unusual. I like the series a lot, but it is a bit messy. It's weird that they made Nadia a woman, and strange that they added Boss and Toy, which is not a very well-written storyline - it is so disconected from the rest - they should have just left Nadia a man and put more time into the relationship.

I'm confused - Thorn is the one who left, not Fah. Fah was busy getting ready for tryouts, which Thorn knew, but…
I have to strongly disagree with you. Thorn was the one who made Fah pursue his dreams, and Fah offered - even wanter - to give it up for Thorn, but he refused. So he was putting Fah in an impossible situation where nothing he could do was right. It had nothing to do with Fah being busy, it was about Thorn's resentment and jealousy. What if Fah were a doctor or an attorney? He would be just as busy - that's what being an adult is - having a lot ot time-consuming obligations. Thorn moved out without telling Fah and refused to talk to him - that's really unforgivable, but Fah forgave it. If you have problems in a relationship, you discuss them and work on resolving them, you don't just abandon your partner and refuse to talk to him.

I totally understand Thorn's feelings, but Fah was almost nearly blameless in this situation. Even his doubts about whether or not Thorn was right for him was perfectly normal processing of a situation where his boyfriend brutally dumped him.
