I'm right there with you. I was thinking "Do we REALLY need another Kaonah/Turbo series?" I wouldn't care if the pairing were Hitler and Stalin so long as we get BossPhu (I think it's better that way - plays on kung-fu).

Ep 9 was really intense - the acting in it is really first rate - again I can't believe how poorly Nut has been directed in the past, because he's great here - that was the best crying I've ever seen in a BL.

There are over 36 minutes cut this episode, but none of the cut scenes are too important - but it flows better and there's some more explanation of things.

I love how complicated things were with Phob's mother - I've never seen that much complexity and depth in a parental relationship before in a BL - this feels very personal and makes me wonder if the author wrote this to purge inner demons. Whatever the case, this is one of the best-written Thai BLs of all time.

LOL. I thought for a moment that Luck would die and Phob's spirit could inhabit his body, which seems like a great result for Phat.

10 minutes into Ep 9 and I'm already a wreck - this one is going to be intense.

The uncut version is a whopping 1:24:28 long - that's nearly a double ep. I'm afraid to see what they took out for the cut version.

It makes sense, but was never mentioned in any way in the series - Taesung just said he as ignoring him. I haven't read the manwha, and I shouldn't need to in order to understand the characters, so I consider that a fail. Plus, is it really believable that he could be in the same school and be totally unaware for 3 years that his own brother was being bullied? I guess you could suspend disbelief for a BL, but it needed to be stated in the series.

I'm not sure that's great casting - Taebum doesn't have much charisma and Haebom has way too much.

We should start a campaign to get BL consolidated onto one site - it's becoming a full-time job to follow them all around. I would vote for GagaOOLala. For this series, I think you'll have to wait until someone uploads it - maybe Dramacool, but they only have 2 eps up right now.

You may have to wait a while until someone uploads it, but someone alwaysd does. There may be a delay because after the first few eps this was pretty weak and I don't think too many people stuck with it.

You can disagree that it's bad to give a platform to someone who romanticizes rape, but it's not petty. It's a perfectly legitimate concern. Just because something is fictional doesn't mean it's themes have no importance - especially in a genre that is aimed at young teens.

The first two episodes were funny, but then it bogged down into a stream of BL cliches and found every reason it could to prevent the main pai from interacting, so there was no real development of their relationship. Why did they like each other? No idea - they hardly talked or spent time together.

There was more development for the straight couple and more screen time as well in the later episodes. We got a comparatively huge amount of backstory for Bongdeok, who was nearly irrelevant to the story.

This was a waste of time for me except Cheolsoo's shower scene.

It doesn't bother me much when they harass Rak, because who wouldnt? And he is in the position of power. It bothers me a lot when it's the other way around, like in Top Secret In Love.

Yes, his explanation that he doesn't like Ryo doesn't really work - why doesn't he like Ryo? He didn't seem to have a problem with him when he was pressuring Anda to do the ad.

My instinct is you won't like it. I usually don't say this, but they didn't go far enough with the comedy in this, and because they made it 6 times longer than the Japanese version but didn't add any more plot or character development, it's full of an endless scenes of people eating and doing other boring things.

It doesn't get much better, but Ep 7 had a scene that should wake you up. I kind of wish Ryo & Anda would take a slow boat to China and let the series focus on Thee and Jet.

Watch Ep 7 and you will have no confusion over this subject. :) You may need medical attention, but it will be clear.

Wow, this is really dull. If I weren't drooling over Thee all episode I don't think I could have sat through 45 minutes of watching people eat. This series doesn't seem to understand it's a comedy. The confrontation at when Thee showed up should have been funny, not played for drama with sad music playing.

The pacing is off, and the soft filter is so insane that I was afraid I had glaucoma. The Ryo-Ando romance is a little too primary school, and it doesn't help that Turbo looks like he's 12. I like that they don't look uncomfortable together, but with the towering inferno going on the other room it just faded to nothing in comparison. When Thee grabbed Jet by the throat I spontaneously combusted. That scene was almost too sexual to fit into this series - yikes. But I'm not complaining. I thought Ando & Ryo were great at the end of Ep 6, but the passion was missing this ep.

Anyway, other than anything with Thee, this is boring.

I've only stuck with it because Cheolsoo is so hot, but agree with everything you said. Why did we need to spend so much time on backstory for a minor character and a straight romance for an obnoxious character? What BL we got was almost all flashback. Wasted potential. I came away from that episode feeling like the whole production was uncomfortable with the idea of BL.

I think it's quite bad. The acting is so-so, most of the characters are unlikeable, and it's barely a BL. I just watched Ep 7. The first third was the backstory of a creepy minor character, and the second third was about a horrible character's straight romance. The last third was BL, but almost entirely an unnecessary flashback montage and a very bad kiss.
