I'm enjoying this - I really like that they are trying new things and not making a generic BL. I have to say, it's really special to see two boys drawn to each other because they like each other - they aren't staring with one of them tripping into an accidental kiss or something stupid like that.
That looks almost unbelievably bad - it's like they just reached into their giant bag of tired cliches and grabbed handfulls until the bag was empty.
But it does have Daniel Cheng and Earth looks really beautiful so I'll probably watch it. But that trip and accidental kiss - someone needs to pass a law banning that. It's so overdone and stupid.
I think it's now safe to say that this is a BL. In Ep 8 "real life" was much racier than the fujoshi's story.
I had a hard time with the laugh track in Ep 1, but somehow I got over it. Probably Rak hotness helped in that regard.
It's not often that you see people sexually harassing their boss, and it's a little cringey when those two side characters do it, although I like the Rak stare in response.
I was thinking that because ambientation isn't a word in English, but it it in Spanish. So I thought spanish-speaker or film student. I knew what you meant, which is all that's important. I think we should import the word because "setting" or "ambiance" don't cover it.
Shhhh... stop resisting the insanity. Embrace it. Be baptized in it. Resistance is futile. Allow time, space,…
Son above the neck and Pun below the neck are apparently sufficient to keep me watching. I may be able to enter a zen state if I can discipline myself to ignore the plot.
Hmm. I feel like you're describing a better plot than this (you should write these). I predict they obviously…
I can ignore bad endings for series that I'm watching for purely shallow reasons (i.e. cute boys, hopefully shirtless - I actually watched Cupid Coach), but if I'm invested in the plot, like 1,000 Stars, a bad second-to-last episode does not make me happy. I need to work on that.
First posted that he's heartbroken and a little video of Gawin (which, BTW HANDSOME as hell):https://mobile.twitter.com/Firstkpp/status/1503102951493365760I…
For some reason he's not as hot in Enchante (except the egg scene), even though he's always holding a guitar. I think it's directing and the way everyone looks like mannequins with the soft-filter so strong. But in this... I can't even rewatch the sketching scene - too much beauty. It burns.
They threatned Dan with killing his parents and that is how they got him to cooperate with them in the meantime.…
I think there are a few possible factors: - It depends on how important Dan is. If they need him for some reason or his parents are powerful, then it's better to keep everyone alive as hostages. - Thinks are unstable right now and the public has taken notice. The Bad Guys know the gang are connected via social media and it would be very difficult to cover up a mass-extrajudicial murder. If the gang is removed rom the situation, there's no reason to kill them and risk enormous attention - because even corrupt authorities will have to take someone down for it. - Given the established public mood, if it gets out, there are marytrs for a revolution. Smart Bad Guys avoid things like that. - White's mother is a potential reason for not killing them - she's clearly one of the bigger baddies, and so her approval is probably required to kill White. She probably has said "only if it's absolutely necessary".
However, none of that applies once things settle down and public attention recedes. If the boys can't get out of prison by then, they're dead (right now an unfortunate but convenient prison fire won't fool anyone). I think White's mother would be able to work something out - for White. I doubt she'd do squat for anyone else.
And for all we know, SHE is the mastermind behind everthing - a high-ranking judge is extremely well-situated to manipulate the legal system.
Unfortunately, Dan is now in need of a big redemption. Like, really big. And what's bigger than taking a bullet…
He more or less has to die otherwise his parents will be killed. I think he acted because of Black's arrival - it greatly increased thr chances of everyone being killed, plus it essentially doubled his ability to do anything.
I want a Thai to tell us if the old man was threatening his parents - I thought so, but he phrased it really oddly.
...the editing was definitely ALL the way OFF. Suddenly they were in the elevator. Like @.@
It was so jarring - there was no transition - the lighting was darker, the shot way more close up, and Pun immediately attacked him - it was almost a jump-scare in a horror film.
It was cute but tonally confusing - the opening scene is very dark, and the rest is cute and funny. Anyway, it's interesting and not the same old thing.
I’ve been debating whether to watch Something In My Room..usually I’m not into ghosts.
Yes, I think Aii and Saen are the only couple that's working for me right now, and they were my least favorite before. They keep killing the momentum by doing time jumps. After the previous one, Vee & Dome never got their sizzle back. That's the forbidden love couple - that needed some real drama leading to their kiss - what happened was a real letdown.
There are times when you watch a series and you are just blown away by the how perfect the entire cast was and…
Doesn't Dan have to die? If he doesn't his parents will be killed for what he did. Unless the old man really did mean he would tell Dan's parents what he's done and he would be in deep doodoo because they're powerful and evil. Which seems unlikely.
They threatned Dan with killing his parents and that is how they got him to cooperate with them in the meantime.…
I hope your parents didn't read that. That's not much of a choice for Dan - plus, this way the gang may possibly live, as opposed to 100% being killed.
They threatned Dan with killing his parents and that is how they got him to cooperate with them in the meantime.…
It was more than that - they would also have killed the whole gang. Also I wasn't clear on if the old man was threatening to kill Dan's parents or if meant he would tell Dan's parents that Dan had betrayed them, i.e. they're powerful and evil.
If he was threatening to kill his parents, then Dan just killed his parents, or he'll have to murder everyone who saw what he did and erase the footage of the security cameras. Or he has to kill himself or die next ep.
