Title Not Me Spoiler
i think what’s the most amazing about not me is the very very well done social critics. nuchy wrote it so well…
Hmm. I feel like you're describing a better plot than this (you should write these). I predict they obviously won't take down The System, but they'll still make a difference and there will be a basically happy ending. Thai BL social commentary seems to be limited to Rich = Evil without a lot of shading. But this is one of the first BLs I've seen where the penultimate epsiode didn't make me roll my eyes and exhale a tired sigh, so I may be totally wrong in this case.

Title Not Me Spoiler
Here's a theory: The reason this series has powerful impact besides the obvious reasons of fine acting & directing,…
Prediction: I was wrong and Todd isn't a villain, but probably won't survive the finale. Black & White's mother is a Big Bad. Tawi isn't - there's something complicated going on with him.

It doesn't look good for Dan surviving, but he might just get really badly injured. As one of the only people who has no real stains on his soul, it doesn't feel like they'll kill him. I don't think Black will make it - all signs point to that.

My picks for fatalities: Black, Todd, & Tawi. Unless Todd surprises us and this is all his master plan.

Title Not Me
Here's a theory: The reason this series has powerful impact besides the obvious reasons of fine acting & directing, is the lack of soft filter. Look at Dan & Yok's closeups in the first segment, and how imperfect and blemished their skin is (i.e. human). Now go to Gawin scene in Enchante where he looks like he's made of porcelain and where he's not very interesting. It's kind of like when they cleaned up the Sistine Chapel - they also removed a lot of Michaelangelo's subtle shading. Strong filters smooth away the subtle aspects of facial expression, and with it, some of the emotion they're conveying is lost. End of the science portion of this post.

This was an exciting episode, but I'm surprised these boys don't set themselves on fire making breakfast because they stupid.

Title Rak Diao
I think it's now safe to say that this is a BL. In Ep 8 "real life" was much racier than the fujoshi's story.
I didn't have any expectations of this show, and now it's one of the top series I wait for.

The bathroom scene...! I think Rak is more aware of his feeelings than Diao, who is still sublimating his desire into hostility, but you can see he's coming around now. Rak would have chemistry with a mannequin, but Diao is really cute when Rak flusters him.

There is one crucial difference: I at least understood what was going on in Bite me. This has the glacial pace…
So Much In Love is in the "so bad it's good" category. The plot is so convoluted and bizarre that it has not one, but two totally unrelated ghosts stories, and a school principal who's out to destroy a volleyball team for no apparent reason.

Phyiscal Therapy, on the other hand, is so bad that it's bad, and saved only by Son's supernatural cuteness and how good Dr. Pun looks in a towel.

This series is starting to make me burn with the desire to find whoever wrote this so I can ask "Why? Why would you write this?" I have no idea what's going on. There has to be some subtitle issues - I can't believe that Dr Yang was actually calling Milk his "best friend" - he must have meant "true friend" or "good friend". What else is off?

It was good to see Dr. Pun finally get aggressive, but the editing was so off it was almost disturbing.

Anyway, Son is so f#$%ing cute I just can't look away.

Ok, so, puh....how to say this....?This show reminds me of "bite me"....looooooong staring, looooooong pauses…
There is one crucial difference: I at least understood what was going on in Bite me. This has the glacial pace and endless staring of Bite Me paired with the plot coherence of So Much In Love. Well, maybe two differences - this has Son in it.

Open heart surgery at least has a heart involved. This was more like having a tumor removed from your colon.
I plan to continue for now. I think Green is a really good actor and I think Chap is a really hot actor, so I'm hoping the chemistry will be good.

Thought I was the only one who Saw that kiss as ridicilous. I don't see any chemistry between the two. The actor…
They do prey on us that way. :) I don't really like this series so far, but I may or may not have rewatched that scene. Once or twice. Maybe a bit more.

Title Rak Diao
As usual, Thai product placement is so subtle you can barely detect it. How do they not die with that much clothing on in that climate? Diao was wearing a leather jacket, sweater, shirt and undershirt - I would expire in under 5 minutes. Do they have the a/c blasting at arctic temperatures or something?

Title Addicted
Agree - a lot of fans only like to watch cute boys being cute to each other - if any characters have any human…
It wasn't full-on sex with the girls though - they found hard-ons hysterical and were a bit agressive about it. So nothing beyond hands.

The first time someone else touches your wee-wee is fairly memorable. Now that I think about it, there was a boy on the same block that I played cops and robbers with (he was always the cop) that invariably ended with him humping me (fully dressed), ironically, in a closet. I can even remember all these people's names.

Maybe I just lived in a randy neighborhood, but it seemed fairly common.

OK, new theory: when I was a kid, it was normal to play all day almost totally unsupervised (if there was a loud crash or somone crying, an adult would usually come to investigate) - now with helicopter parenting kids have no opportunity for sex play and that's why they grow up to find a rubber kiss or a high-five to be a satisfying climax to a romantic relationship in BLs. (I'm not serious except that I sort of am.)

They explained that this episode (ep 8) in a cut scene. Ben is lying about things and the landlady knows it, so…
In the Ben flashback, his departure after speaking to Landlady felt like a final exit - she had said that leaving and starting over somewhere else was his pattern. But you never know.

I guess for me, I'm OK with characters doing bad things, because to err is human, and perfect characters are intensely uninteresting - but doing the same bad thing over and over is a pattern of abuse and means the character is just like that. It's also boring and/or disturbing to watch.

And personally, I like reading different opinions than mine - sometimes I've misunderstood something or was missing context, and people have changed my mind. That's kind of the purpose of discussion.

You never agree with me? So you thought Gen y S2 was super-good? :)

A lot of them get very, very emotionally invested in their BLs and aren't able to tolerate criticism. Sometimes people will go nuts over even a minor criticism.

I don't care for it when someone says something like "this series sucks". That's not a criticism, it's just an insult. "This series sucks because it has no plot and nothing the characters do makes any sense like when X did Y" is legit.

I was like why does the two ML look familiar? 10 seconds later heyy that's Nut & Karn from Grey Rainbow. Then…
One of them is Death, so I don't think either of them will die. And even if the doctor dies, he can still be Death's boyfriend.

Title My Ride
I’ve been debating whether to watch Something In My Room..usually I’m not into ghosts.
It's not the best, but I think it's one of the better ones - it's original, very well written, and well-acted. The technical aspects are good, not top-of-the-heap like You're My Sky or ITSAY.
