Athetes in the us sometimes do things like this. Its not a normal activity, but there are special occassions where people do crazy things. For example, at my high school, once a year the football players dressed as cheerleaders and the cheerleaders dressed like players.
Are we not talking about the babosity of the coaching staff? Who was that guy at the beginning with the arms?
Also, did Qi Jiaohao unalive himself off screen? That was really confusing. Maybe it was subtitles, but what's-her-name was referring to him in the past tense. That scene with Qi Jiaohao was some strong acting.
Lots of sleeveless Andy Chen for me this ep. Talk about arms...
LOL. I cringe at how often a BL character gets drunk off one beer or two beers. Booze is always used as a plot…
Yes, I agree. In BL, seme and uke are not just top & bottom positions, they're completely different genders. Most men wouldn't like it if another man always drove, opened the door for him, and otherwise took care of him. And even in the context of a man and a woman, would anyone write a woman like that? Maybe a teen princess in a period drama - and notice that when BL characters have parents that somehow survive their 30s (it's 75% survival for fathers and maybe 5% for mothers), the mother is usually not passive and useless like an uke.
I'll answer the gift cards part. Is this an American thing? 😁
That's a good idea - that would probably work here too, but I don't think it will happen because it's too similar to the food vouchers the poor are given by the government.
In some Asian languages the difference between "r" and "l" is much smaller than it is in English. That's why in…
As you know, Thais have nicknames, which were originally to confuse evil spirits, and were often simple or humorous.
It's very common to use English words or names, and Aries is a good choice for this character. That name can only be approximated in Thai letters (เอริส), hence Eris, although I think it's pronounced closer to "Eh-rít"
I'm not sure about the second half of #3. But the first half is one of my pet peeves. It's tired and stupid.
Given their personalities, it would have made more sense for the topness & bottomness reversed. And would have been hotter.
BL writers should all be required to take a music class, drink a beer so they can see it won't erase your memory and make you violently ill, hold a basketball so they can see it's not a cannonball that will knock someone out if it hits them, and watch gay porn so they can see that bottoming won't hospitalize you and is enjoyable, not some sacrifice to the monstrous lusts of the seme in exchange for his protection and guidance. Also bottoms can generally descend stairs without tripping, not die of fever if water touches them, and manage to use a butter knife without cutting themselves.
That was mediocre but watchable. It's a bit messy an amateurish, but Pat is a good character. The ML is a bit stiff and relying a bit too much on his handsomeness, which one must admit he has in spades.
Ugggh it always frustrates me when the production team attempts to do the whole gorgeous, meticulous, CEO/Executive…
The entrance was bad, but some of his outfits later on were better. I don't know why they keep putting CEOs in black - nobody wears a black suit to work in Thailand. Or really anywhere else.
Ok so MDL says the ML's name is Eris, the subs says Elis and the series intro - Elyes. Do we pick one so we can…
In some Asian languages the difference between "r" and "l" is much smaller than it is in English. That's why in Korean you will see the name 이 spelled Lee, Yi, I and Rhee. Also, it can make a difference how a letter is pronounced depending on where it is in the word.

It is an American thing. In lieu of giving people anything they actually want, like more time off or a bonus, they give you a $25 gift card. Somtimes you even get to choose the store the card is for (it's usually Amazon, though). Usually it's not even a card - you get a link and you have to do all the work yourself.
Mhm...I dont know. This was strangely boring in my opinion. I usually like the boss/employee kinda relationship,…
I've become like that too - I used to give everything 3 eps to grab me, but now it's more like 3 minutes. I haven't watched this yet, so maybe I'll like it.
"So many people below had the same opinion as me that I must conclude that this show would not have an 8.5 rating…
Good God. Can we stop with this "all you want is sex" nonsense? The point isn't that there wasn't a sex scene, it's that the romance didn't progress. Kohei kissed Taichi and told him he liked him, Taichi said to himself he liked being kissed, and then nothing happened for 6 episodes. If you market something as a BL, then it needs to have BL. I don't thing a sex scene belonged in this series, and I don't think one single person here is saying so - this is your issue.
The fact is that they DID kiss, half the series ago, then nothing progressed from there.
Also, criticism isn't hate, it's criticism. What's the point of a discussion forum if it's "hateful" to express your opinion.
"This show SUCKSSS!!!!" would be unwelcome and pointless, but a reasoned criticism is what this place is for, not an echo chamber for people who get hurt when other people have a different opinion than they do.
You're so incapable of grasping that there are valid opinions different from yours that you assume that everyone that has a criticism is actually the same person!
I think there is a Spin The Wheel somewhere of Thai BL plots. Engineers (rivals to lovers) -- Boss & Employee…
For some reason the only sport Thais play is basketball, even though it's not even in the top 5 most popular sports. (To be fair, it's easier to film people playing basketball than it is football.)
If you forgot anything it's the mandatory childhood connection.
Connected to Mafiosi, bodyguards who have never successfully guarded a body. I sometimes wonder why anyone bothers to have one.
Is there some council somewhere that decides what the plot is for 75% of BLs? "This year: BASKETBALL." Next year: "BOSS & SUBORDINATE. I don't care if it's Thailand and it's nearly suicidal to wear a black suit everyday! MORE BOSSES!"
I bet you all the money in my bank account that everyone is gonna like the second couple more than the first...I…
Second couples are often better written and acted. The primary couple is sometimes saddled with something limiting, like "a boy who lost his smile", or some other factor that works in print but not in live action, whereas the secondary couple is freer to develop organically. Also, they're not onscreen much leaving you to want more, whereas you might lose interest in the boring and repetitive story that the leads tend to be stuck in.

It would be worse if we had to have Mandarin names, because it's a tonal language and we'd misprounce everything and confuse everyone.

The name is actually Aries, like the Greek god.
The fact is that they DID kiss, half the series ago, then nothing progressed from there.
