I don't have anything against GMMTV (except their tendency to ruin endings. And I appeciate how easy it is to access their shows), but I don't particularly like this show, except for Mork and Duean. It's starting to become ridiculous that Pi can't see that Mork is into him, and it's starting to seem ridiculous that Mork is into Pi - why? He's horrible! I want Mork to find someone nicer. Like Mussolini or Vladimir Putin. Or any of the other 3.5 billion men on earth.

I'm confused by what you mean. What long-distance pining? Mork couldn't possibly be more direct and obvious. He says ever scene that he likes Pi and wants to be with him. What I don't get is why? If someone were as awful a human being as Pi, I would lose my crush for him instantly.

I can't stop watching this because of Mork and Duean, but I'm having to resist fast-forwarding. The problem with the story is that it's dependent on a misunderstanding so ridiculous that it takes me right out of the story. Nobody, and I mean nobody, even someone blind, deaf, and lobotomized, could possibly miss how much Mork is into them. And nobody could possibly not fall in love with Mork if he treated them like that. Even if he were Hitler's grandson. Heck, even if he were actually Hitler. Come on!

The other issue is although Phuwin is doing a good acting job, Pi is such a total dick that I don't want Mork to be with him - he deserves so much better than this rude, insensitive and self-absorbed asshole. But I'm even starting to lose respect for Mork - why does he continue to go after a nasty little child that's so awful to him? Doesn't he have any self-resepect?

You might if you were wearing polyester uniform slacks like that. Or even if they're wool. Especially if you've never gone commando before.

For me, my "meh" reaction is that Pi is such a self-abosrbed asshole that I don't want Mork to be with him - I want him to get someone better. And the plot depends on a misunderstanding so totally implausible that it's just silly.

It's totally been like that in the USA - although that kind of thing has been in the decline, and the motive was often a little different. A lot of American actors are gay or LGBTQ+ of some stripe, and so they were married off to their co-stars to hide it. Now nobody cares about that anymore so it's not happening as much. There's also the marketing of couples similar to what we see in BL, but it's general reserved to big names. Maybe that's because the media market is so much bigger.

Well, nobody f#$%ed a cat, but it was cute.

I think it's Max. He has sort of that Earth-ishness - to a lesser degree, but it's still there.

I thought it was way better than Y Destiny - I squirmed all the way through Y - super-cringe.

But he's filthy rich and doesn't have to play another role. That's why I think there are two separate issues. One is the general problem that fans demand that the actors behave as a real couple which is awful, and the other is the situation Gene and Sib are in, which is their own fault for being careless.

Is Earth openly dating a woman? I just checked his instagram, and there are dozens of photos of him being very intimate with Mix, and not one single female anywhere, unless one of his cats is a girl.

Again, that's mashing together two different problems. That actors have to do this is wrong, but is due to the expectations of the fans, which is what needs to change. If it doesn't, and BL companies let actors date girls openly, then far fewer people will watch, and people will stop making BLs (or at least ones with real budgets).

Gene and Sib are playing on the field that is already there. They knew the consquences and did it anyway. They were given lots of friendly warnings to be careful and they didn't. Their recklessness and selfishness caused this problem, and Gene's solution was absolutely correct. To do anything else would have hurt many innocent people who would lose their jobs, including Tum and Hin, both of whom have done everything they can to support both of them.

I totally agree. Many people here are actually blaming him for this mess, which he had absolutely nothing to do with (unless he took and posted the photo). He made it worse, but while everyone keeps pointing out that Gene and Sib are human beings, nobody accords Aoey that privilege. He was doing a live feed and was besieged by a million people throwing Gene and Sib in his face and he broke down. He was clearly trying to hold it together and maintain the "company line", but what could he do once he was stuck there?

Aoey is being used to deflect all blame away from where it belongs, whcih is with Sib for his monomaniacal obsession with Gene, which causes him to do whatever he wants regardless of the consequences to everyone else.

In this case, he threatened to derail the production, which would costs hundreds of non-crazy-rich people their jobs.

He's young and stupid, so I don't think he's evil or anything, but it's completely crazy to blame Aoey.

How? The photo was already posted and millions of people had commented on it with all the hashtags. Aoey had absolutely nothing to do with it. You're deflecting blame from the people who caused this to someone who didn't. Aoey didn't take the photo (as far as we know - if he did, someone should shoot him), and Aoey didn't make Gene and Sib frolick in a public place.

There's a difference between how things ARE and how they SHOULD be. Actors should have free private lives, but both of them, and especially Sib, knew that was not the case here.

What they've done affects a lot of people and could cause innocent and poor people to love their livelihoods - it's easy for two crazy-rich people to handle the loss of their jobs, but not all the production staff.

I wasn't serious. This is about cat/owner love, not romantic love - I was making fun of people for getting freaked out by such an innocent and wholesome story.

There are two different problems. One is the situation Gene and Nubsib are in. This has already happened and has to be dealt with. It's not just about them as it affects the entire production and impacts a lot of people's jobs - mostly people who have had zero control over the situation, e.g the production staff, who will lose their jobs if the production is derailed.

The other problem is the BL industry in general, which is a separate (though related) issue. This is a fictonal story where all the actors are from mega-rich families, which is of course ridiculous. BL actors generally really need the money, so they have little choice but to follow along with the "rules".

Sib did all this in his insane plan to get close to Gene, instead of just re-introducing himself, or having his mother hold a dinner for both families. He didn't care about the consequences of what he was doing, and this was the result.

I don't think Sib is insane, I think the story is very poorly written. It's a good thing they cast a lot of talented actors or this would be unwatchable for a lot of people.

I don't see how, and in any case, he clearly didn't mean to - whatever you think of Aoey, Bruce is an amazing actor and he clearly portrayed someone who was shocked and trying to hold himself together, he just failed. Everything he was saying was "all of us get along very well".

It feels like people are trying to deflect blame from Sib and Gene's carelessness onto Aoey. Sib should never have brought Gene with him to the shoot, and definitely shouldn't have frolicked with him in a very public place.

I don't really blame Gene as he's kind of naive and didn't understand the situation - but Sib certainly did.
