episode 8 is so disappointing why did he have to find out so quick and like this too. I needed a kiss or a true/explicit…
Yes, I do agree with you on this. It wouldn't have been so hard to just make him be okay with the possibility of liking a man even if she had to find out she was a woman, but the scene with Sang Hwa felt like they wanted to cut that possibility or make a joke of it and that is pretty annoying.
We did get the rain confession scene when he still thought she was a guy and I am glad for that, and that they didn't make him know the whole time she was a woman. But I definitely feel your disappointments too.
Yeah, it's certain now they are going in for the kill and are going to hurt us bad, after giving us that scorcher kiss scene halfway through the drama. My god. π₯΅ I will accept the pain now.
Well that's disappointing. It's frustrating how kdrama writers these days take so few risks. They have to follow…
Me too! βΊοΈ
And yep, there is no point getting too annoyed by it as it's not going to change. And it's not the actress's fault but the director and makeup team. I feel if SSK went too hard on trying to seem "manly" people would complain it comes across as ridiculous. So really they should have just fixed the makeup and styling.

Oh interesting. I don't find that that's the formula in my experience! I have seen a few crossdressing dramas like that, but others where the gender is known from the start/before the romance. In Our Blooming Youth from last year and also in Knight Flower airing right now, MLs know that FL is a woman even though they crossdress.

I find it more of a risk for a Kdrama to portray a ML who develops strong feelings for someone regardless of gender, and I much prefer this kind of portrayal. I find it boring when all the secrets come out too soon in the show. I feel like since we know FL is a woman yes it is very obvious, but we just have to suspend disbelief and accept the show logic that she is convincing as a pretty guy π
The intensity of these scenes is so good. I love how the soundtrack always highlights the intense moments at just the right time! Shoutout to the Queen/Lady Oh actress for this episode. She really played the sickly fear so well, it had me sweating in nervousness for her. Talk about an awful situation to be in.
She lost Hong Jang π & her dad is far away as a prisoner π₯² Although Iβm curious what happened between…
Oh yes. When I said villain I meant more like, he will be fully against ML now for sure. Even if he and Hee Soo are on the same side for now, I can see him causing issues in the future if she rejoins ML's side!

I need a cold drink πΉ

Why didn't I wait to watch two episodes at once? π
