My heart is broken for Hee Soo. Just like that she lost her father (basically), lost a best friend, and has been abandoned by a person she put her trust in. This is so painful and intense already ๐ญ
My major surprise of the episode...I keep expecting to hate Myung Ha but I felt really bad for him. It is annoying how he keeps pushing himself at FL but it was a surprise to see his feelings are really genuine. I kept expecting him to turn on her completely. But now I feel he will be going full villain mode!
watching this right after My dearest was NOT a good idea. I screamed Plagiarism for a sec cause of the held hostage…
It is not plagiarism unless you count being inspired by the same historical events as plagiarism ๐ There are many historical dramas depicting the same events as each other.
Im loving this drama but do they really think she looks like a different person just with lipstick and eyeliner?…
It is definitely meant to be funny and even the drama pokes fun at it, having characters say things like "Wow, I can't believe you look so different with makeup!" The fact that nobody can recognize her is really ridiculous but it is meant to be. As previous commenter said, it's like a Clark Kent with glasses thing. It's kind of supposed to be a running joke ๐
I have a theory that historical kdramas are always badly rated because kdrama watchers simply actually donโt…
As a watcher of Kdrama and Cdrama I can see this being a factor. There are definitely some sageuks that get low viewership and ratings that have made me think to myself, "If this was a Cdrama it would be getting a lot of love."
Something I have noticed is that a lot of historical Kdrama watchers also watch costume Cdramas (like me!) But for some reason the opposite does not seem to be true...AKA those who watch Cdramas don't really come over to watch the historical Kdramas. Just my observation, not sure how true it is.
I loved it as well. Negative comments be damned, especially on this site lol. I would've liked a few more episodes…
Just another good reminder to give a drama a chance. Thanks to you especially for pushing me to watch this one ๐ Yeah, it would have been nice to spend more time with everyone, but at the end of the day I can't complain either as they wrapped things up really nicely!
Glad I gave this drama a chance despite hearing negative comments when it first aired and the rating here. I really didn't expect to enjoy it so much but it was great pretty much from start to end! I honestly only have a few complaints. I'll miss having this to make Mondays more bearable!
Agree with previous comments that this show really grows on you. It took me by surprise how much I was looking forward to the time of day I could put on an episode!
The only disappointment is the "soulmate angle" between Ha Na and CP. Ugh! It's offputting. The only bad mark on what is a really good and comforting drama.
Feeling let down from Episode 1 :( It felt very choppy so it was hard to get immersed in the story. But mostly I feel the visuals are a letdown. The constant slow-mo shots add to the cheap feeling. I was really excited for this drama (with this cast!) so maybe I will push through and hopefully it will hook me later...
Damn..6 january why all kdramas take such a long time to finish, everytime it feels an eternity till a kdrama…
Please don't wish for that, some of us poor souls can't keep up with Cdrama scheduling ๐ I prefer the Kdrama schedule. With Cdrama it feels impossible to keep up especially with multiple shows.
I also like the feeling of the show lasting longer. It is nice to have time to have discussions with people.
So Ryang Eum does get out of the prison/asylym, thankfully! I'm so mad they left it hanging in the first version! He…
I think they put the white haired wig just to trick us into not knowing who it was or what the timing was. Because GC doesn't look aged at all, not a single gray hair, and RE is younger ๐ But yes, it could be gray from stress too.

Yes, I wish we could have gotten an extended version to begin with. I would have been okay to wait patiently for another week if they needed extra time for editing and to air a longer episode. But it is what it is. I'm glad they at least decided to air it now โบ๏ธ Though I feel a lot of people will miss out on the extension due to not knowing about it.

I think people need to suspend disbelief for this kind of drama too and just go with the flow of the drama's logic ๐
And Jin Han is totally bisexual...Nobody can change my mind! ๐
I don't understand the complaints about the cast at all. I think they are amazing so far.
So excited for this!

Does anybody know if the drama will be set in modern times from here no out or if it will be a mixture of past and present?
