I understand your frustration, but there would no longer be a story here if she was at full power for all 20 episodes 😛 I have a feeling (and am hoping) we will see her in badass fighting mode again in future. But even if not I still love her character. She's certainly still a badass even if not physically!

I have been here since Day 1 so I understand that ☺️ I do consider it 'pressuring' when there are constant comments telling people to do something, especially when I have seen people replying to users directly saying 'please consider giving a 10/10 rating' etc. If people want to rate it, they will do so on their own terms out of genuine enjoyment of the drama. If someone else with a different viewpoint were on here telling everyone 'please rate 1/10' wouldn't you find that annoying?

I myself already rated 10/10 a while back. I was simply kindly pointing out that some users may find such comments grating at this point, when the rating is 8.8 which is extremely good. Just politely expressing my viewpoint—I have no problem with anyone and it really isn't a huge deal to me 😅 Take care.

I never used the word 'force' and there is no 'bug up mine'—I was just expressing my opinion respectfully. I have seen you and a few others replying to others and leaving many comments asking people to rate 10/10. All I am saying is that some people may not appreciate feeling pressured. One or two comments is fine but I have seen many comments like this. That's just my opinion, of course you can ignore me and do whatever you please if you so wish :)

I appreciate you want people to show support, but I think if anything the constant comments like this will just aggravate people and even make them resentful of the show, the opposite of what you want. Please let people make up their own minds and rate freely whenever they so choose :) I am also loving the show myself but saying it deserves to be in the highest rated on MDL at this early stage is a bit much.

I feel like saying China is known for costume dramas whereas Korea is known for love triangles is not an equal comparison. China is known for a whole expansive genre, yet you boil Korea down to one trope? This simply isn't true in my experience, especially with the huge range of Kdramas that are popular today. Sure there may be many love triangles in romance dramas and romcoms. But especially these days Korea produces dramas all across the board. I could easily say "why are Koreans so obsessed with serial killers? 😝" if all I ever watch is Strangers From Hell, Link, Through the Darkness, Beyond Evil, Stranger, Mouse, Nobody Knows, etc. you get my point. I have watched a lot of Kdrama and only a handful of them have had a love triangle in it because I watch a variety of drama. Same amount I'd run into in Western drama. Regardless of all this, the point is: you could point out you are tired of love triangles without insinuating something about an entire population of people. According to your argument would you also say "why does Thailand produce lots of BL...is everyone there a gay man?" You see how that is a ludicrous statement...

This is a very insulting way of putting it. Love triangles are extremely common not just in K-ent. Western media has been obsessed with love triangles for ages, from Twilight to Buffy to Hunger Games to The Vampire Diaries to countless shows like Dawson's Creek to One Tree Hill...the list goes on and on...not even counting literature. It is a very common storyline especially in contemporary romance and the fantasy genre. It features in a lot of Kdramas yes but I don't think Koreans are uniquely obsessed with the trope.

Even though they have the same score at the first decimal point, the ranking is different. If you look at the ranking right now for AOS, it is #400. For Link it is #507. I think number of comments etc. may also factor in but I'm not certain.

It makes sense for her character to not have gone about it patiently I think. Especially since he was harsh with her saying if she bothered him again, he'd sell her off...rough! 😅 Even though they care for each other now they both have selfish interests. Mu Deok basically is relying on him for her life.

Have you been a fan of the more comedic historical dramas? Maybe it's the combination of genres with the comedy that isn't working. Ep 3 was definitely heavy on comedy, even a little too much for me personally, but I still enjoyed it, especially since my expectation is that this would have a good amount of comedy in it. I think the show will definitely have more drama and serious parts going forward, so maybe it will work better for you later. If not, no worries, not your cup of tea :)

Agree, I think it's quite fun 😆 If everyone was styled for Goryeo or Joseon historical accuracy, there would be little to set this drama apart visually from other historicals. You'd look at pictures and think this was your average Sageuk. Even if it's a little funny at first, I think it was smart to play around with that so you know this is a different kind of drama.

MDL has certainly had bugs before but they usually get sorted out faster than this. Rating for this drama has been stuck on 6.8 then 7.1 since last weekend. No other airing dramas seem to be affected by this bug, even kdramas that started around the same time, such as Jinxed At First.

Same for me 😕 I kept trying, got some to go through, but it is frustrating.

Not the only one. I know especially in recent years people seem to be against love triangles full stop. For me, like any other trope, it depends how it is executed. If it leads to interesting things for the characters and makes sense, I am on board. We will see how it plays out.
