Ep 1-4, I’m not impressed (even though I already had low expectations). The good stuff first:
🌸 Cheng Lei 100/10 sexiness. 🌸 Cheng Lei’s non-stop shirtless scenes. 🌸 Fight scenes (because Cheng Lei is in them).
❌ Kiddo’s screen time. Thankfully he seems gone after 2 eps. ❌ FL is a general but she goes to fight with a bow against a crowd of swordsmen?!?! Of course she always needs to be rescued 🙄 In general she looks weak, but is at least mature.
Basically I’m mostly bored. I might watch more but idk.
WHAT THE HELL!!! This was my most anticipated episode. I don’t know what I was expecting but I wasn’t prepared for this. No, actually I expected lots of spice but instead we got one rapey scene and one semi consensual scene. My jaw is on the floor 😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵

The writers did it again! One episode I’m laughing and the next I’m so stressed!!!
I can’t believe we continue to get so many intimate and kiss scenes, I could watch 10 more episodes of them just being total sweethearts. I LOVE THIS COUPLE SO MUCH 💗💗💗
And then the angst came. I knew it would happen. Every encounter he keeps wanting her to kill. I get him. In this world it’s kill or get killed. But I also get HER. She is from our world, killing can psychologically mess you up. And it sure did. If I was her, I’d feel exactly the same. I’m glad he at least felt regret and understood that it was wrong to force her… the sweet dreams pillow was good gesture.
The only really good thing about this drama was the main couple. Their hot chemistry was the reason I finished this. The concept of travelling back in time and re-writing the past was cool, but only on paper.
The plot and all side characters were boring and I end up skipping everything without the leads. The second couple was beyond irritating as the girl was pure evil especially towards the female lead. Idk what the writers were thinking making the lead’s brother actually like her?!?!
The ending was fine, just as expected, so no surprise in the censorship department. Overall, I’m not sure the drama was worth my time.
Ep 15 I was giggling and smiling like a fool. I can’t believe we get so many sensual kiss scenes 😍 Bro can read her mind now 😂😂😂 goodbye privacy. The fishing scene was such a nice touch, tying back to the original title of the novel 💖 The petty revenge made it 10x better 😂😂👏🏻👏🏻
Then ep 16 stressed me out so much 😩😩 Our sweetie LTY suffering so much. CFY’s facial expressions were brilliant when he came to rescue her. I felt his pain of not being there to protect her and his murderous aura towards all the scumbags 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
LTY suddenly feeling irritated is so sus. I’m guessing her tribulation is coming up. Or she is preggo 😂😂😂 jk jk Its the first one.
My biggest 2025 disappointment. There was nothing and I mean nothing legendary about this drama. The production is at an atrocious Temu level. The script must have cost $5 because of how ridiculous it was with tons of plot holes. The angst was flat as an iron board, the big reveals all anti-climatic. The final battle was only 5 min long and 90% of it, I had already seen in the trailer.
The drama was beyond silly, beyond brainless. I couldn’t take anything seriously, and if the drama was aiming for full satire, it would have achieved that but nope. The only saving grace were the leads.
