Thank you for sharing this post because it illustrates exactly what his thoughtful fans are talking about. In the 2nd photo, you can’t really see his face. Yes, his arms look great!!! But look at the 1st photo. His eyes are not bright. His neck is starting to look boney. Magazine photo shoots usually happen at least a month before they are published so these pics are earlier than his GQ pics. In his GQ pics, you can see how things have gotten worse in his neck and face. He started his career as a model. There was nothing wrong with his looks then. I wish that he can remember that and have confidence in himself.

I don’t know if you know what you’re saying. If XK is on the level of Brosnan or Washington that means that he’s one of the best in the world.

If you don’t see that your interpretation of what they posted is extremist and inaccurate then it’s no wonder you don’t see a problem in XK’s GQ photos.

You must be a grade schooler. Is everything just a set of extremes to you? He was created beautiful, but it’s still possible to damage what he’s been given. Three quarters of the people at GQ had just finished filming something or are in the middle of filming multiple things so I think that several had tired eyes or less energy. However, if you think photos 4 & 6 are just examples of him being tired then you need to look at Heath Ledger’s final photo before his demise. Now, if Xu Kai is preparing to take on a heavy, Oscar-level serious dramatic role so that he can demonstrate the wide range of his acting skills then I’ll relax and will cheer for him. If that’s not the case, then something is wrong. It could be a serious health condition like Chadwick Boseman or a mental condition. Either way, it’s not something real fans will ignore and pretend isn’t happening.

At least you said the word, “please”. It’s the only decent part of your statement. When he stared with CX, he looked like he had gained a few more pounds than when he appeared in Yanxi Palance. He didn’t have a hard body and he was perfect. He looked healthy. His eyes were bright and shining. I have watched him go from that to kind of muscular to downright unhealthy over the last few months and it’s concerning. I watched him drink his way through the GQ event. Something is wrong and I hope he gets help - privately and silently - because I don’t think the Chinese Entertainment industry is very forgiving

Actually, you’re the same as the fat shamers. You’re both delusional for your own purposes. When honest people see something wrong happening, they have an obligation to speak out. This is even more true when you like someone. He wasn’t obese before. He doesn’t need to starve himself now. He should satisfy common sense first. If he’s looking for body role models he can look to Pierce Brosnan and Denzel Washington. Neither of them had hard bodies, yet both were extremely handsome and amazing actors.

Slow your roll a bit. If you really like XK that much then you would be honest, admit when something is wrong, and start advocating that he take care of himself. In the last few months, he doesn’t even look happy most of the time. I saw him smile at yesterday’s GQ event, but most of the time he was morose and even looked agitated.

I’ve heard about those comments. He may not have a body like Chris Hemsworth, but I don’t think he needs to have that kind of body. His figure and face were charming. If they hadn’t been then how could he have become so popular.. I don’t know who’s in his inner circle, but I hope they are able to bolster him against these critics.
