Why is this not on Netflix already?
Because this show was initially licensed exclusively to Paramount+ by CJ ENM; that deal ended this year but it looks like they negotiated to still release it, like they did with Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale. Unfortunately, Paramount+ doesn't release their kdramas until several months after they air in Korea so it will probably be released in January 2025.

Releasing new seasons on different platforms is sadly becoming common. It's all about who's willing to pay the most money. The first two seasons of Dr. Romantic are on Viki but the third season went to Disney+/Hulu. Also, Weak Hero Class 1 was released on Viki but Weak Hero Class 2 is going to be released on Netflix.

For viu, most likely Hong Kong is the only region that available this time, and subtitle selection is in traditional…
I found it there but only with Chinese subtitles. 🥺

It will likely be coming to Paramount+ January 2025.
Paramount+ had a licensing deal with CJ EMN to release multiple shows on their platform, including Dongjae, Pyramid Game, and Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale. The deal expired but all the kdramas under the original deal seem to have been negotiated to still release on Paramount+.

Yes, it's confirmed to be released in 240 countries through Amazon Prime Video.https://press.amazonmgmstudios.com/us/en/press-release/ispice-up-our-lovei-a-spinoff-from-no-gain-no-love
12:00pm KST Oct 3 is when it will be released on TVING which is in 1.5 hours. And it should come to Prime Video shortly afterwards.

So far this doesn't seem to have any official streaming platform outside of South Korea. Viki, Netflix, and Viu have all announced their October shows and Dongjae is not on their lists. It still might go to Paramount+ but they wouldn't release it until months later anyway.

Title No Gain, No Love Spoiler
It was the first time and I think will take some time to see another kdrama with episodes about dildos again hahaha…
Well.... there's actually a new kdrama coming out this month called A Virtuous Business about women in the 1990s who were selling sex toys in rural South Korea. But yes, the "lightsaber" fight was hilarious!

As a US viewer will I wind up being a STRANGER to DONG JAE? TVING doesn’t seem to be in a rush to make this…
It will likely be coming to Paramount+ January 2025.

Title Stranger
Absolutely LOVE Stranger (1&2)! It was the second kdrama I watched and (150 kdramas in) is still my number 1 kdrama. Can't wait for the spinoff, Dongjae the Good or the Bastard, with Lee Joon Hyuk!

Sadly I also feel the need post a warning about HiTV...

Please do NOT watch this show on HiTV which is an illegal streaming app that I suspect is spyware to get the info on your phone. Even their own website to hock their app tells you to turn off your safety features to install it. Note that there are a string of brand new MDL accounts that are all "friends" with each other that are going around the comment sections making generic comments that could easily be generated by AI and then adding some variation of "watch it on HiTV" to lure you into downloading it.

Whenever possible use a legal website so they will get paying to license kdramas so we can see more shows.

I have watched 365: Repeat the Year twice and enjoyed it both times. It's a must watch if you like mystery thrillers.
