There's that, but I feel that there are ways to that, such as recruiting people instead of forcing them by offering great benefits and pay, and most importantly, proper training and environment. It's different when you come in the military with a mindset that you're being forced rather than making the choice on your own. It's just begs this question: Is mandatory service worth it at the cost of affecting the mental health of the youth?

But then again, idealism is idealism. This is just not a perfect world. But if there are no discussions like this happening, then how can even a tiny change happen, right?

I definitely disagree with doing mandatory service for females too. I've done research about the trauma that female soldiers here in the U.S. experience that led them to commit suicide due to various reasons including war-related trauma, sexual harrasment, and rape. Yes, rape.

I feel that in this day and age, there should be no mandatory service at all for any gender. Military is not for everybody and so is becoming a teacher, nurse and so on.

Hana Yori Dango was my first, then Hana Kimi is my second. They were just young ikemen back then, but now, they're the leading actors of their generation. Crazy how time goes fast and changes people's lives.

For me, it's 40 episodes since I can't stand it anymore. I was praising Jianing in the middle episodes. But the recent episodes, it's like me trying to scream at her and saying, "C'mon, woman! How many times are you going to let this suspicious and totally not worth it guy deceive you?"

It's just a shame that we finally got such a great female lead, but they just had to ruin the plot. That will just prevent more people to watch this. I know I'm absolutely not recommending this.

Oh god, and that plot twist is definitely not cute. It's like adding fuel to the fire. I was already angry with the latest episodes and they just had to make it worse.

Look elsewhere. Nothing to see here, unfortunately.

A few episodes back, I was praising this show for the intelligent female lead, and now, I'm warning people to stay away from it. If only I could get that precious time I spent, 40 episodes ago.

First, I'd like to thank you for giving us spoilers to save some of us from stressing out and flipping a table. After watching the first few minutes of episode 40, I just couldn't stand all the illogical nonsense and how they made our female lead into a stupid emotional woman which is a 360 degree change for her character.

Uh huh, because women become completely blinded when they fall in love, including scientists. Such a great message.

I'm so glad I didn't watch further. I'll just wait for the last episode just for the heck of it and skip the whole hoopla in between. This is just too disappointing, and we spent at least 40 episodes for what again?

Jia Ning went from "I'm going to kill you" to "Let's cook together like old times". Did she hit her head and forgot what happened a minute ago? Oh wait, she did hit her head because she became stupid when she was fighting Xiao Shan in the car, so they fell off the cliff. Maybe she hit her head before the accident too? Mystery...and I don't care about it anymore.

Dude, episode 40 is a bipolar episode. It was the fastest roller coaster ride ever!!! I'm so pissed. This was everything that I did not expect, and I can't believe I was praising this during the middle episodes.
