I dont watch many romance kdrama but its safe to say this is one of the worst. I'm only watching for the side…
Watch Boys Over Flowers, Heirs, and Playful Kiss. Don' t forget to leave your brain when you watch them or you won't get pass the first episode like me.
I came here for Luo Yun Xi but stayed for Qiu Jia Ning.I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a female lead…
By the way, I've never enjoyed the breakup stage in dramas, but this drama changed that.
Qiu Jia Ning giving the cold shoulder towards Xiao Shan and being the rational independent woman that she is are just breaking all the stereotypes out there, and I love it!
I came here for Luo Yun Xi but stayed for Qiu Jia Ning.
I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a female lead like this. I want to be her, but I also want to have a partner, friend, mom, jie jie, co-worker, and pet (just kidding) like her!
Let's be honest that this show has hit and miss episodes, but they made such great lead characters that it's hard to not get sucked into it!
Please watch this people, especially ladies, because I feel so special and proud to be a woman whenever Qiu Jia Ning shows up on my screen. I know she's a fictional character, but this is what we want our young women or future generation of women to aspire to be.
P.S. Everybody needs a Qiu Jia Ning in their life.
The rating doesn't surprise me because our current society still shapes women to be emotional instead of logical…
You're right about the POV! Which is just sad because we're in the 20th century, but we haven't really made that much progress to the point that we find rational and successful women like Jia Ning to be unusual. Plus, in real life, there are several female CEOs that were never really known, or at least the company hid the fact that they have a female CEO.
This is one of the best drama I have seen this year . Do you all love those dramas in which the FL is acting all…
The rating doesn't surprise me because our current society still shapes women to be emotional instead of logical beings. This is true at least for developed countries since they all are patriarchal societies. Just check what's the statistics when it comes to which gender holds the most high positions in the media industry (director, producer). When stories are mostly told from the point of view of men, women are most likely going to be portrayed unrealistically or as caricatures.
We just need to accept that dramas like this most likely won't top dramas like Ashes of Love, Boys Over Flowers, Love O2O, Heirs, and the likes. Let's just hope we get more content like this despite the ratings.
I say these things because I'm such a pessimistic person. But I'll be more than happy to be wrong if someday, mainstream media glorifies females like our lead here.
It's been a while since I smiled like an idiot while watching a drama. When I was watching the last few episodes, I just couldn't wipe that smile off my face. Every relationship that the leads had (besides their own) was beautiful from their parents to their friends and even their bosses!
I think this drama wins the best supportive parents lol.
Exactly my thought!! We need more FL like this! She really loves ZXS fully, because every time she always said…
Not just Cdramas, but any shows out there in general. Even Hollywood doesn't have a lot of female characters like her. I mean characters like her can inspire young women out there to excel in their careers and pursue professional careers.
I love how Jianing took the breakup. Their were cracks but her life didn't crumble just because of it.
She was so realistic about the whole thing when she said that she might have just gotten played, or it's just a temporary affection. Very rational through and through. But at the same time, very human, when she couldn't fall asleep and kept her distance from the male lead at work. Can we get more female leads like her (kind, rational, and highly intelligent)?
Try one of his earlier works, "Gravity's Clown", and obviously "Yutori" and "Fuben na Benriya" too, Those 3 are…
Great choice. He seemed to suit the geeky character in comedies despite his very handsome face or cool aura. I definitely paid attention to him more after Fuben na Benriya and Yutori.
