Agree, like you, I'm staying for the leads. It's taking me months to finish this 9-episode drama. I'm sorry to…
Yeah, I'm struggling to finish the last episode. I put it on hold for almost a month then I realized I only have the last and special episode to watch haha. Btw, I recommend Saikou No Rikon if you want to watch a good romance from Ayano Go. However, it's about divorce lol. Well there's also a romcom that he has with Gakki, Soratobu Kouhoushitsu.
On eps 3, but idk why I'm so bored... Would still watch it tho for Ishihara Satomi and Ayano Go. Their chemistry…
Agree, like you, I'm staying for the leads. It's taking me months to finish this 9-episode drama. I'm sorry to say that the biggest flaw of this drama is the writing.
If you're looking for quality writing with stellar cast, I highly recommend Kikazaru and Omameda Towako for this year's best Jdoramas.
Ik Jun is killing me with today's episode. I thought nothing else will top the snow crabs and charger scenes, but the heart scene had me dying. Haha oh my god I thought that "missing arm" joke was too old but of course, Ik Jun is Ik Jun.
Both stories are great in my opinion. Plot-wise, the 2nd couple’s story is interesting but if you stretch it…
Yeah, I bet many requested that already. You'll be surprised with what a good writer can do to a simple plot. There are some really good slice of life Korean dramas out there (Reply series, Hospital Playlist, Prison Playbook, Be Melodramatic) where they seem boring on paper, but even the dullest scenarios you can think of (eating an ice cream with a friend, cleaning the house), can be executed so well that it's more interesting than the action scenes from blockbusters.
i don't see Woo Yeo as a cold, perfect main lead but i do agree with you! As much as the leads are great and I…
Handsome, rich, and intelligent=perfect male lead or at least that's how I look at it. He was cold to the female lead at first though. I'm not saying he was mean to her but more like insensitive to her at first and just lacking emotions or robotic in general. But of course that changed thanks to the female lead as usual.
And yes, like you said, we rarely see leads like Jae Jin and Hye Sun so definitely more entertaining to watch.

Hmm I think it just depends on how the writer handles their story. There's a lot of good potential in a story like our 2nd leads' if you think about dramas like Rooftop Prince, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, and Queen In Hyun's Man. I mean the whole plot could revolve around Jae Jin introducing Hae Jin to the 21st century and how to assimilate to a human's world including the shenanigans and hijinks that come with it. I mean the fact that this is her first time attending college in 700 years or so, can aleady be a plot itself. Maybe a story like Gumiho Goes to College which is similar to Second 20s where Choi Ji Woo, a woman in her 40s, goes to college. So what more if a 700-year-old goes to college experiences human relationships in college and college life in general lol.
After watching episode 15, I feel like Jae Jin and Hye Sun couple has a more interesting story to tell -- a gumiho-turned-human who got attracted to a human lol. They're just too interesting to not be leads.
As much as I like the visuals, that is Woo Yeo, the cold and perfect main lead and bright and bubbly female lead, has been done too many times in my 14 years of drama watching. The comedy does make up for it though.
He uses his own voice just like the rest of the cast.
Yeah, I watched their behind the scenes to make sure haha. I really miss the drama and our leads, and I just can't find a replacement like it. Unfortunately, most Asian dramas still have dumb or weak females and genius or capable males to this day.
This is probably Ishihara's only drama I couldn't get into. Dropped at E2. It was too boring and the characters…
That's odd. I find all of the characters funny and interesting, especially Iga-kun and Kawaii-kun since they are complete opposites. Maybe you just need to watch a little bit more episodes because the characters do become closer. The fun begins from there.

Me: I'm out. (Back-up back-up. Run run. Grabs phone to call police.)
I'm a very rational person, so I'm proud that I used my pillow to cover my squeals =D
