yeah i am also bit disappointed because if u see in ep 2 do hana defeated soo early i think itβs just to make…
Agreed. Not to be on a hate train or anything, since it's only first two episodes. There's a lot more coming, it's just a start-off. So I'm not getting sceptical yet. β¨
However, that being said, maybe I had my hopes a little too high thinking they'd get someone more charismatic as a 5th counter for their team. Not complaining about the actor at all, I know him from other dramas and know what he can pull off. I just don't want too many cringy-funny characters on the stage, I hoped for someone more down to earth and serious (not poker face serious, but.... a little normal). Someone who'd fit in between Mo Tak who balances out his wit with his serious moments, and Ha Na who rarely relaxes. Someone half the way to each. Then again we barely scratched the beginning so I'm not backing out on our characters.
yeaaaah that was a little far fetched π π either that or she got some real good back muscle to keep her legs…
Yeah of course, they're super strong and jump off high buildings without breaking their knees. It's just that this one simply looked somehow out of the picture to me, can't quite explain π
I loved every bit. Strongly suggest to give this drama a try. Of course, there were a few stretched moments, but that is to be expected. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed how they handled psychology here. How they showed people's realistic reactions to an unexpected occurrence (because 90 % of people does act loud and unreasonable when something they can't understand happens). They showed the disorganization well. How they handled different characteristics despite seemengly coming off as stereotypical at first glance.
MOST IMPORTANTLY How they handled the psychology of somebody who wants to stay distant and closed-off because of their dependence on traumatic situations which taught them no better. I think in this case the coping mechanism and inner conflict, with simply freezing whenever there's "danger" of opening up to people....was portrayed and performed VERY well and the ACTING was tremendous. How slowly such detached person becomes to embrace trust again, and slowly overcomes anxiety, self-denial and panic over past events. I loved it so much and found it very believable. Also want to appreciate the originality of not having a main character as a typical heroic hopeful person who never gives up, rather having somebody lost and apathetic who's given up a long time ago, for the main story to tell. I find it creative.
Having someone who indeed never gives up but eventually has to face some harsh reality wasn't bad at the end's part, however it felt a bit sudden of a developement. Despite that, a character growing more and more mentally worn out was nicely visible throughout.
Not another love triangle please.... it's the one reason why I haven't watched Sehun's drama, for the love triangle.... β not me being a jealous fan, I'm rooting for a good and valid romance basis, I enjoy it a lot, but I just can't take this trope anymore.... πͺ
Can we talk about Dong Joo? I understand why viewers are mad at him. He stole someone else's work and passed off…
I agree with you. I don't understand why he should get so much hate from people. Yes he stole, he did something wrong. But we can CLEARLY see that he's overall a good person, he just made a wrong judgment call because circumstances escalated for him. Haven't we all at some point? It's not like we've been introduced to ML who murdered someone at the very start of a drama (Like Kill it where we literally follow an asassin). We were introduced to a genuinely nice and caring guy who's even fun to watch and yet people somehow can bash on him based on something that's so obviously the main pilar and moving force of what this drama is actually meant to be..... One of the basics is him realizing his mistakes throughout the story and sorting out how to be selfless.
Of all the TERRIBLE main characters we already got in the history of kdrama... This is the one they choose to lecture? Someone who actually acts realistic? Are people THIS dense?

In my opinion it's a pretty original way of portraying a main character β not perfectly righteous and preaching to others about what is right and wrong, but rather somebody flawed, realistic, believable, struggling... It's clear that he's a good person with a good heart and sense of what's bad, however affected by unpleasant circumstances and classic wishful thinkings of life. It's why I like him and I do actually enjoy watching him. You can sympathize with him. He made a mistake, he did something very bad, but he has self-reflexion, awareness, regrets and progression.
is it necessary to create multiple accounts to review when you don't change your ways of expression eventually? it's a waste. and please don't be this disrespectful to all the drama creators and participants
how much of the supernatural element is present here? is it just a typical detective chasing corrupted politicians and higher ups story or is there more?π₯²
I am π€ this close to dropping this drama. How can accountants who work at the same company, always go against…
Yes that's an aspect I keep missing the point of somehow.... They're colleagues, they work for the same firm, how is there literally going against each other and after each other? I'd understand some basic rivalry out of spite or competition in your typical way β who does better. But this workplace is a damn battlefield π I don't follow..... I truly like the characters, I still wanna know how they end up... but I just don't follow. If that even makes sense.
Forget the business mumbo jumbo....half the frickin plot revolves around people over hearing someone elses convo. The…
I'd say it's just..... a kdrama thing at the end of the day π I don't agree with it either. Also she wouldn't hear half the things they were saying.... I understand why he got drunk and needed to confront her, I get why he's frustrated, it does make sense from his POV. But.... not the setting. Please....No.....
Already 6 eps but the detective is not yet on their side. When he scoffs at both Professor Yeom and San Yeong when…
True, but it's hard to blame him for not believing it as it'd be for anyone... imagine someone just randomly telling you ghosts are killing people, you wouldn't swallow it that easily either . I think they're making the progression on his side quite well, he's slowly becoming to embrace it and starting to be open to the fact that maybe shit's real..... Of course you can't just suddenly change your mind but the circumstances he witnesses are more and more convincing, as not having any other way of explanation. Especially if you're a detective and working solely on facts π€·ββοΈ But yeah, I don't see why he's this desperate to get promoted to be working on his own...
I am exactly the same. I recently started watching s1 because I want to watch s3 and in the beginning I literally…
I hear you. I'm always trying not to be overly critical with dramas and have a certain levity....? Is it the right way to say it? But here I came for mature, serious stories (expecting a necessary dose of comedy naturally, afterall we're still talking kdramas here...). But since it was so hyped about and praised, I didn't expect it to be.... this dull? I absolutely don't get what FL is playing at with her forceful modesty/humility around her seniors who obviously don't treat her the same, how she basically has double personality from being an annoying brat to suddenly being a saint, how everyone is constantly eavesdropping because without it the plot wouldn't move anywhere, FL following her half brother around constantly after he made it explicit that he doesn't want to be talked to. If I were him or either of the MLs, with that attitude of hers she sure wouldn't grow on me. The plot addings are totally random with dozens of over-dramatic exaggarated 10 minutes long arguments and emotional outbursts with fake tears..... I had to put it on pause for a few days and it's been a month already..... π π So... how is it going with ya over there?
