First 2 episodes very promising so far. I like the camera work, the plot doesn't drag, performances, all main 3 actors are great to look at and it seems like the FL is finally one to not have your stereotypical main hero half victim/half brat personality. She's enjoyable to watch and I really like her. She feels almost real and not so much "just written" if you know what I mean.
After seeing Hong Kyung in WHC1 I was curious of his new character portrayal. I'm looking forward to seeing more because his personality and attitude here are succesfully making me forget what his previous character did β in other words, well done.
Did Jiheon really have to kill Eunho? Couldn't he just shot him to disarm him? It was bothering me because Eunho…
You're not alone in this. Even though he was the murderer (which I concluded halfway through the drama) I still wanted him to be understood by others and to meet some just end somehow... not this... he deserved so much better. He was just a doomed soul. :(
Why? What does Netflix do?And I have a question, is it a good thing to air all the episodes at once? I don't think…
Netflix has been doin that ever since I remember. And I always hated it. It's better adrenaline to wait for your episode or two each week and keeps you hyped. I'm not sure how it's economically convenient to them but if they didn't have a reason I guess they'd stop a long time ago. I always wondered. π€·ββοΈ
I really hope we'll get to see him balance between light and shadow again, with a different title perhaps, discovering or re-evaluating his moral values. I've been wanting redemption for him but at the same time it's thrilling to never know what to expect from him. He's such a complex character π And Iove Joon Hyuk with all my heart so I'm extra happy he gets his own show β€
Someone need to tell me. I really want to watch this Drama, but I'm afraid that I will see Yunho, San, Jongho…
I don't think you need to be worried about that. Seonghwa and San are barely there and their personalities are basically the same goofy and sweet. Jongho has a bit more screentime and is this sneaky little rascal friend, I always really enjoy his scenes so much. As for Yunho he's in every episode but really doesn't have majority of screentime. His character is really lovable aswell.π He's determined, ambitious (not in an arrogant way, no no), kind and caring. I didn't come across anything that might ruin their image. ππ
So I have a question.... How much is it focused on the flashbacks from their childhood/is every episode half present and half flashbacks? It would probably be driving me crazy
Its decent, I thought many situations were repeated to pad the drama to 16 eps. I also thought the showed the…
what got me a bit bored and disappointed was how they tried to find a disappeared mother like 1000x over... later on I didn't even care anymore and just wanted to have it over with π π¬ however the main leads did really great job you don't always see in a drama π
I really wish more projects for him in the future. He's lovely. And he knows how to switch characters even in a matter of the same show...... <3 i'm glad that in DAS I already knew him
OK...... It was kinda hard to escape all the anger around so after reading reviews and comments I decided to not watch the last episode simply to to avoid all that trauma. Would do me no good. I literally loved Tae Man and Jang Soo and Young Shin and Il Ha and I want to remember them alive. Angry and sad. But alive.
To be honest I knew ever since their school practices where Young Soo aimed his rifle at Kwon Il Ha that he must really have some shady feelings/thoughts about him... And that sooner or later it's gonna come down to that. And that was what, episode 2? No, I didn't expect a happy ending and I don't like it when all the characters survive with plot armor of unrealistic luck or skill..... But not this. Please, not this. They are all able to shoot mini-targets moving crazy fast so you can barely see them, but they can't defend themselves against someone who up until now had the worst shooting skills of them all. Yes when you just press and don't let go and aim all around you of course the bullets hit and are basically impossible to escape.... BUT those spheres were aswell. Yet suddenly in part 2 all students could magically outrun them despite it being shown previously that they can shoot their super-whips from xxx meters afar.... I guess that didn't matter anymore.
Also miraculous couple Kimchi and NaRa to be destined to survive right from the beginning (and together, conveniently so)..... I.... can't take that. Na Ra did literally nothing to earn my affection. Just a simple blank Mary Sue. Of whom we never learn how or where she learned to never miss any moving target.
The story premise is that Lee Yeon is somehow sent back in time by almost 100 years, and at that time, his lover…
Oh back when I was watching I noticed both their personalities change. Yeon and Ji Ah aswell. But since it was a matter of ONLY 6 or what episodes it felt so weird and disappointing. They switched from their standards and basic character traits so suddenly that I lost my interest. Also because of half the plot holes there were and draggy digressions from the main concern of the plot. In general I'm not a huge fan of reincarnated love trope.... :D
And you're right I barely even recall Imoogi now that you mention it xDD I guess it didn't allow me to properly feel it through due to it's lack of convincingness.

I can relate. I felt like the chemistry would have even been good if they didn't rush it so much... like they kinda got together really soon and what else was there to develop... plus I didn't feel like there was enough reason for her in particular. I get it that I could have been easier for him since she was his love reincarnated. But personally I enjoyed the brother interaction so much more π

Yes that's one of those things that I even spoiled to myself since I wasn't really interested in how the story continues in all the detail. It will be nice to see him there, I was supportive of their bromance. Thank you for response! π

Technically one doesn't need to see season 1, right? I watched 7 episodes and dropped it but since this should have a different premise I'm considering to get into it. However I most likely wouldn't finish the previous story. πΆ
Are there a lot of comedy aspects or is it rather serious and "mature" ? (only asking to know what i'm getting…
Thank you. π I noticed some people saying that the first season is skippable or in other words nothing that bad happens if you start from season 2, only you'll miss some character's background. But I don't feel like starting in the middle. It's good to hear that there's both drama and comedy and not only tension, AND well put together. I'm always afraid of dramas where they deal with serious matters and then the humor suddenly comes out of the blue and seems out of place. Like they can't decide what genere they actually want it to be. Thanks again!
