Episode 1... totally irrelevant, but: this might be the smartest product placement I've ever seen in a k-drama ๐ no brand closeup yet everyone can tell what it is without having it in their faces ๐ฑ
Whoever is in hurry like mi seon in a foreign country, can drop.. Its normal..although writer could have ignore…
I'm not sure if he actually admitted that it was his fault โ and his fault only โ that they lost that business? If he wasn't cocky thinking he knows everything the best, bribing an official cause it's "how you do things 'round here", then they would've never gotten into that mess or lose their first potential international sale like that. It eventually turned out that the police got him confused with someone else, but that doesn't change the fact he still did do the bribery, IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY. That's hella confident (not in a good way). And when at the end of it all when they got to the broken helmets Miseon started crying that it's her fault... I was like how on earth did you figure that? There's only one person at fault here whose actions sabotaged your whole business deal here. And I might just have a bad memory but I don't recall him taking responsibility for that and apologizing genuinely. Though he did compliment Ms Oh and changed his mind about her but that doesn't make up for it so easily. And then they all act like one big happy family like he didn't just literally flop their business and cross all possible boundaries....๐ I'd be furious to death if a colleague did that after such huge effort and expenses on that travelling.
I'm willingly ignoring the fact that a CEO would sell his eyes to a loan shark... freakin BODY PART OF ALL THINGS? ๐ But I like this drama too much to have it ruined by a slip like that ๐คฃ
Watch your mouth you dum-f-- ahem*,Have you not watched "My Name" Kdrama series?"Soundtrack #1"…
And understandably so. Some people just have the need to lash out on online spaces where it can't hurt them of course and have no self-reflection once somebody's opinion simply differs. Even when one disagrees with another they can voice it politely and assertively but some drama seekers just don't have it in them ๐
And I agree with you that her character here is the very embodiment of uninteresting or unappealing. She kindof reminds me of Bella from Twilight. She's just an existing shell with no personality range ๐ Makes you wonder what is there about her character to be so magnetically drawn to, I mean besides the script and plot armor. I did indeed like this actress in My name, I think she was spectacular. But anywhere else I watched her I got the exact same dead meaningless impression from her, Gyeongseong creature included.
I wish people wouldn't be so scared of using their brains. But I understand, it's a muscle at the end of the day…
Oh and you're absolutely right! ๐ I just think so many people forget that it's not happening in 2025 and the social accordance is just different, and they adamantly refuse to even consider accepting that or thinking a little beyond superficial expectations. But otherwise I agree with you, and I personally can't wait for next eps. We'll see! ๐
I love how the main couple is actually acting like one when they get together- hand holding, hugging, small kisses.…
I like Seulgi's character for sort of acting before thinking but then immediately realizing she made a mistake and feeling remorse. She acts upon her own frustration because she's like a leaf in the wind flying all around with nowhere to land no matter how much she tries to do well and to be desired. She can't figure out her own secret ingredient and feels desperate because from her POV she does the best she can without getting acknowledged, so then she acts recklessly. However, at least she owns it later. I'm rooting for her. ๐
People getting mad after one episode really shows how fast viewing habits have changed. The showโs tackling…
I wish people wouldn't be so scared of using their brains. But I understand, it's a muscle at the end of the day and they don't want to have it pulled ๐ฅฒ
I came across other drama site and noticed a lot of negative comments about this show, many people even dropped…
And on the contrary I'm here all happy that finally we get someone naturally and "average" looking โ not average in a bad way but average compared to those super-models with hundreds of filters who get casted daily who don't really represent what your average human being looks like ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ I thought it's so nice that we don't have a super attractive FL with smooth skin and soft perfectly arranged hair just like in literally any drama, and that if both the leads were actually "average" looking (using quote marks for a reason) then it might feel even more realistic (cause Junho is such a damn eye candy I could die) . It feels nice to watch someone who is more relatable to your day-to-day life and not only an unreachable catalogue beauty. I guess it takes viewers with IQ to handle this objectively... ๐ฎโ๐จ
AND I think the chemistry between them is so sweet it actually hurts. I also like that she's not just pining over him and still keeps focus on herself and he somewhat respects her space despite liking her instead of blindly trying to win her over with awkward actions. He treats her so delicately. My favorite line was when he decided he's not gonna use his wish to stop her from being mad, but rather for her to accept his apology. To him it's about her decisions and her preference. ๐คง
This drama is SO GOOD.... ๐คฉ I just binged all 7 eps in a row cause I couldn't get enough! ๐ I love Kim Hye Eun's character here โ that lady with her fashion and humor and overall aura is just a masterpiece ๐ she's not over-exaggerated and yet she's funny and hits the right spot with all her scenes. She's the support figure you really wanna have. And the chemistry between the leads is so fluffy and cute without being forced or too stereotypical and cartoonish๐ฅน And the ACTING!!!๐ค aigooooo ๐ญ๐คง๐ It feels like the humor is just right, without being over the top, for now. I'm also glad it's not just about trading/market theories and strategies because despite me mostly enjoying analytical topics this time I feel like I just need to have fun ๐ It's been a fair while since the last time a drama made me binge like this ๐คฃ
We're halfway through and I'm scared it'll subdue to the "last few episodes syndrome" where it totally loses focus and grip as it often happens, especially since it's 16 eps. The dramas that make me feel like I found a gem after ages and like my heart is finally in it often end up being a drag in the second half, I pray this will hurt as little as possible if it happens ๐ ๐ฅฒ
R you even watching show๐ bcoz they registered their marriage
I don't think that one or two pieces of information slipping from me automatically means that I'm not watching it. Maybe sometimes their conversation just isn't clear to me. ๐ Anyways I get it now โ๏ธ
She did get married they just hadn't had the wedding yet. They registered their marriage before the wedding making…
Riiight now I get it. I was confused about it since they didn't have a wedding day and only kept talking about engagement this and that, so it somehow slipped from me that they registered. Thanks for your explanation ๐

Their dynamics definitely looks interesting to me, atleast you know they're not just childhood friends ๐ฅฒ (or are they...?๐)

and why does this status still matter in Asia so much ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
and what's with her response to him confessing.... oh damn ๐
