Her name sounds turkish I thought she had origins!
Modern day uyghurs are more related to iranians than turkish. Uzbeks are the closest to uyghur in bloodline and language. Yugurs are not the same because their bloodlines are the closest to ancient uyghurs that originated from mongolia. (Don't ask me how I know, I have uyghur relatives. Plus I watched documentaries and some uyghur shows).

There isn't a season 2 but the sequel is a modern day version that better explains what happened before Ka Suo awakens. Drama posters are out but no air date. I hope it isn't as bad as Scarlet Heart 2.

Not Euroasia. Uygurs are originally from the Uyghur Khanganate Empire in Mongolia. They mixed with central asians / middle eastern people when they migrated south but never with Europeans.
