It was already starting to look sadly 'predictable' and 'low energy' after being SO edgy, sharp, hard and REAL in the first 16-17 or so eps .. OOC (out of character) behaviour was setting in with no prep or hint of it happening .. neatly tying loose ends seemed to have started ..
So I wondered what was coming up ..
I PRAY that the drama doesn't goof up and end on a 'pretty bows and balloons' all tied up and cute and ideal and WAH WAH .. Same ol' same ol'

If anyone of you has watched Kdrama VIP .. (or STRANGERS AGAIN) you'll know what I mean .. bows and balloons need not be the only way to affirm Life, Love, Living, Understanding of Human Foibles . And I thought this drama was bravely charting out its unique course in a refreshing direction that would avoid these easy "solutions"

By Ep 14 it's like I've chugged two mug of beer, a shot of tequila, a screwdriver, I am thinking of moving to a glass of wine, but I think I’ll hold off until the final episodes, I think I’ll need it.
This is one of the most potent modern dramas, I have watched, which revolves around love, romance, the lies, we tell our other halves, our friends, and mostly to ourselves
The damage we do, the edifice we build, only time will tell, which will stand, which will crumble, and where new mansions will rebuilt and thrive over the ruins of old ones.

I am so nervous that the drama will screw itself up under audience pressure maybe, and won’t have a realistic ending, it doesn’t matter whether it’s open ended or close ended, I am just praying stays true to what it has set itself up to be till now.

No happy comforting places here : balls of doubt and looking at oneself in the mirror fly at you...

So it’s totally understandable, why the MDL ratings are dropping down and down and down, even as it goes up and up and up for me, if I could make it up it beyond 10, I would.
I looked up the director of the drama and realised it’s the same person who directed Cixin Liu's epic trilogy, the Three Body Problem, which totally blew my mind, as well as of those who are big time sci-fi addicts
