I watched LLTG twice!!!
And could go again!!

I was also swept away by Royal Nirvana (60+12 eps) and watched twice!! (It’s not everyone’s cuppa - but one of the best scripted directed acted period drama )

I am waiting for Joy of Life 3rd season to release - because I know it will kill me to wait if I rushed in to finish S2 and be left on a cliff-hanger

I will REWATCH : to get the full sweep of the drama binge-mode

JLQ ex wife’s situation was just too heartbreaking : what an actress, what a well written character.. she was so pitiable .. you want her to find some release from her misery .. tragic pawn

The way the drama made space for a character like this is why I will cheer for it to reach 9/10 rating on MDL

I was amazed at how her speech riled me up, then filled me with pity, and then admiration for how Lanxiang emoted the entire spectrum from disgust - sorrow - anger - pity - empathy towards DC without having spoken much except with her eyes - and the way the director and editor crafted it.

The pacing is slow BUT here’s the thing - it’s graceful and addictive and one ENJOYS the view so much!!
