really happy to have watched this drama. the drama really made me fall in love with qin lan, who after much digging up on her, is an incredibly lovable human being. currently head over heels for her haha XD

overall a great watch and definitely my favorite cdrama of the year so far~

hope this drama gets subbed soon so more people can watch it!! XD

based on the script that was leaked online, it's supposed to have a happy ending haha and so far it seems that the script is pretty legit based on the eps released so far so I think we probs have hope?

guys, Yang Mi is NOT confirmed to cameo in the drama AT ALL. she's currently filming her own drama; there's barely any news of her making a cameo in the drama.

iQiyi stated that they will be releasing new eps every Tues-Sun, 2 eps per day instead of the previous Thurs-Sun! So now we get 12 eps per week instead of just 8 eps per week!! XD

Wikipedia says: "She was posthumously honoured as an Empress because her son became Emperor, even though she never held the rank of Empress while she was living."

In the drama I believe she will rise to Consort Ling

hehe yang mi has a lot of antis in China lol but that is the same for every popular female celeb in China, it's normal but kinda sad
it's probs a combo of antis+book fans
but I think it seems decently received from what I read/see on Weibo?? or at least I think and hope so lol

there will be a Tiansha country story arc soon, and Tiansha's political issues still need to be resolved so I'm pretty sure he'll appear in future eps

so excited to see Wan Qian in a new drama!! Absolutely fell in love with her and her amazing acting in Lost in 1949

EPISODE 29 MY HEART UWUWUW ASJFLSKFJS

there's a lot of things they have yet to reveal so I'm very curious how things will play out
right now we know that a lot of the characters (Meng Fuyao, Zhangsun Wuji, Zhan Beiye, Yan Jingchen, Zong Yue and later on possibly Yun Hen and Ya Lanzhu) all have some complicated backgrounds to them so I really hope the production team will play out the storylines nicely cuhs if so then we might get a pretty neat story

oof I don't think that many ppl are watching this since there aren't any engsubs but I like this drama so far XD

so far I like it!! hope it keeps up the good pace. really like that the coloring isn't too bright and I think overall the special effects have been pretty good. really like the fighting scenes and the costumes. acting seems pretty good so far. hope they keep it up lol pls don't fail us haha
