I'm only on ep 28 but from what I've read on Weibo, fans are speculating that the Tommy Cai person that XXF and TW are looking for is most likely the Cai Tianlan guy that TW has been trying to find who she knows has a connection with her parents death. It's either happening soon........or the fan speculations are wrong LOL

so either TW will find out that Cai Tianlan and XXF's family had in a hand in her parents death. or the synopsis is wrong and this won't happen LOL

I think even after she finds out, they probably sort out the misunderstanding or punishment or I don't know what else lol tbh I have no clue at this point haha

but if the synopsis is wrong I think I will change it to fit what the drama is doing with the story line :D

same! I'm more excited for Legend of Fu Yao. But I watched this because I really like YM haha. I'm a bit scared for Legend of Fu Yao though because the reviews of the novel are pretty meh 50/50 in terms of good/bad. But I'm still gonna watch it haha

it's not the greatest drama and has quite a few plotholes, but it's one of those entertaining and funny dramas even though you know it's not good LOL. I only like the main lead characters and the main pairing though; the side characters are pretty annoying.

I loved YM in Eternal Love too. I feel like her character in this drama itself gives her very little room to do much lol but I thought that scene where she and Xiaofei were arguing in front of Chenxi's house was pretty good by both.

it's decently enjoyable if you like noona-dongsaeng romances (which is why the FL is older than the ML and they mention it in the drama---for those wondering lol)

tbh this is just another crappy drama that YM took up because Jaywalk wants to use her to help promote the other talents under their label :// fans on Weibo are pretty annoyed/upset about it but eh nothing we can do about it now

she does go back to her job though in a couple episodes later
but then in eps 23-24, she wants to quit this time because she doesn't want to work for a company that helps other companies do bad things and stuff ://

I don't think this one is based off of a novel. Les Interpretes was VERY loosely based off of a novel of the same name. This drama is a spin-off of the drama adaptation, and not the novel Les Interpretes was based on. Although there is no original novel for this drama, I saw something about a "novel version" of the drama that may be sold after the drama finishes airing or smth but I'm not too sure on that yet.

Aside from what you mentioned, and from what I've seen so far, nothing much really. I guess interpreting technically could be used during negotiating if it's between companies of different countries, but they haven't really implemented that too much so far LOL

the dubbing feels pretty good to me though? it's the same person that dubs yang mi in her historicals. usually yang mi dubs herself for modern cdramas but apparently they had issues passing the SARFT regulations (which I read is probably why their airdate got pushed back from last August), so they ended up changing lines and had them dubbed afterwards.

in this case, we should blame it on Fei Wo Si Cun (the author of the original novel) who is basically FAMOUS for her tragic endings in almost all her novels hahahah her fans like to call her "stepmom" as a nickname XD

same! I had my doubts when I first saw the casting, but the chemistry is much better than I had hoped for/expected. I'm also a HUGE fan of Yang Mi too!! so even if I didn't like the drama, I'd still watch her parts at least haha

If you like noona-dongsaeng romances, then I think you will like this one! If not, then you may feel that they don't have much chemistry LOL
