Speaking as someone who stuck with it...drop it lmao I'm only finishing it because I got to ep 25 and needed to see it through. spare yourself the frustration. 😅😅

ok, thank you

???? @ show URL on MDL "https://kisskh.at/72187-love-and-redemption-2" Was Love and Redemption 2 the original title?? I never saw LaR

I feel like it deserves a higher rating. It definitely had its flaws but a lot about it was very good.

The novel kinda follows TTEOTM novel style... appears to be a sad ending, but then there are rebirths and it leaves on a happy ending but I don't know that it was as satisfying as the TTEOTM novel ending😂 I suspect the dramatization will make us cry our eyes out, but it sure would be nice if they give us a complete ending instead of like what TTEOTM did...

The bad editing became especially blatant in ep 18 or 19 😐 I thought people were exaggerating, but they weren't

I loooove the characters. I haaaaate the editing.

It's not a prequel. It IS set in the same universe, but in the future and about totally different characters. The novel (and characters) refer to TTJ, Li Susu, Sangjiu and Mingye, and the original devil god as well if memory serves. I am waiting for more news about this drama 👀 Very excited for it

oh nooo all these comments lmao I'm gonna finish this one but T_T

I looove her looks in this so far T_T Aaaaah

Okayyy. Thanks for sharing!

Doing nothing?! Hwat?! They just get separated?

Dayumn T_T lmao Ok... I've been through TTEOTM and ADWAD, I can get through this ig

I do get a bit frustrated with Li Fei though... She's soooo mean Xiu Yuan T_T (on ep 13, please tell me what episode it gets better? Without any other spoilers though)

Yes :P I'm behind most people though, on ep 13

For more Landy Li hilarity, watch the modern drama "Filter" :D For more xianxia, "The Eternal Fragrance" is airing right now and Jiang Li Fei has the same kind of chaotic personality as TSL's Ye Tan lol (eating people's pets, scheming, constantly scheming)

💯

well MDL ratings don't matter as much as China ratings as far as impact on her career. Last I checked, it had a strong heat index, so I think it's doing well? but yeah it's frustrating to see this lovely drama getting rated so low.

It's definitely having me reconsider hesitating based on MDL ratings alone (with other shows, I mean). I'm really enjoying this one. It's visually stunning, engaging, pure xianxia fun.

I love it 🥹
