i guess they used up all their finest idea for the first 2 eps
Can't agree more. I'm actually kinda glad that they cut it to 12 episodes, even though I do feel sorry for the crew and cast. If only each episode was only 45-minute long, they might have made the story tighter with fewer gratuitously long scenes from the start.
I mean, even most of (in)famously mundane slice-of-life Japanese dramas had episodes that were only 30-minutes long each.
Did they become estranged because her husband was uncomfortable with Ha Won?Also are they implying that the husband…
What @birdofparadise said. Her husband "made a mistake", she said, that caused her great pain and changed her relationship with her husband completely.
The only thing I knew about this particular production was how amateurish it was. I didn't know anything about what really happened behind the scene. So thank you very much for writing this article :D
Thanks for compiling this, @OldAnimeLady. As always, I'm going to hold my breath and decide to watch stuff only after someone pick them up for subbing ;p
Thank you for writing this. I loved Death Bell, which was why I was instantly skeptical when they made the second movie. I had no interest in the "sequel", and your article has just confirmed that it has nothing interesting to offer.
OH MY GOD, they're making Tokyo Love Story! I'm a sucker, so of course I'm going to watch it if it's subbed. As always, thank you very much for compiling this, Ceki.
This is late, and I doubt any of you guys would read this, but I just want to say a big thanks to you all. You guys have different "areas of expertise", let's just say, and approached the creative writing process differently, but I can honestly say that I've enjoyed reading your articles, each of you.
Just finished the first two episodes and I liked it. Curious to find out more about the scars on Baek Soo-jin's hands (body?). Does she get more of it as she curses more people to die--a sign of bad karma or whatever it's called? Or is it just a sign that a spirit is living inside of her? Also curious about why Forest CEO asked Soo-jin's mom to call upon the evil spirit to enter him. Was it because his lust of power?
I keep hearing good stuff about "The Ghost Bride", from people with diverse taste. Maybe I'll check it out one of these days. Thanks for writing the article :)
This drama kinda lost me when it resorted to that cheap makjang twist on episode 2. A shame, really. I wanted…
I wrote that comment after watching episode 2. But then I watched episode 3, and that thing with the Sumar president happened and I just . . . I couldn't take it anymore.
Nice that this drama finally acknowledges that there are students who are not top-tier academically. It's still early in 2020, but I think this is going to be one of my favorite dramas this year.
As much as I like the show ...As much as the acting part is so goooooooood ... Nah, the writing part of the show…
This drama kinda lost me when it resorted to that cheap makjang twist on episode 2. A shame, really. I wanted to like this so much. And I wanted it to be really about contrasting views of economic governance rather than a simplistic good-vs-evil story :(
I think I'm going to watch until episode 4 or 5 to decide whether to drop or to continue.
I mean, even most of (in)famously mundane slice-of-life Japanese dramas had episodes that were only 30-minutes long each.
As much as I enjoyed the first season, this came as a surprise. Was the rating that good to merit a second season?
I think I'm going to watch until episode 4 or 5 to decide whether to drop or to continue.
