Hey, just want to say that I absolutely LOVE your review. I've noticed that there have been an uptick of reviews which may or may not be written with the help of ChatGTP of late, so to see something that has so much personality in it--as your review does--is such a pleasure.
is the female lead in this movie, done breast implants???
I know why you're asking this. It's because her breasts didn't change shape when they really should, isn't it? Because that's exactly what I thought when I saw her boobs 😂
One of my favorite dramas in 2024, tbh. Often very funny, I got attached to the characters even as they make questionable decisions that eventually hurt themselves and others. I loved the two crooked leads and their earliest "followers" and how they genuinely care about each other and help each other. And for a drama about fake religious sect, it's surprisingly nuanced in its portrayal of religion/belief and its adherents.
In the version that I watched, the main character speaks Cantonese when he's in Hong Kong, but then he goes to…
I liked it enough. I chuckled lightly at regular intervals in the beginning, but about halfway through the movie, ML's and the film industry's ridiculousness became tiresome, imo. I think it's still worth watching, though, if you like satire and/or Andy Lau.
In the version that I watched, the main character speaks Cantonese when he's in Hong Kong, but then he goes to Mainland China for filming and he mostly speaks Mandarin there, with the occasional Cantonese when he's talking to his staff.
Subs for the entire series are now available at D-O.
Thank you! I can't believe how hilarious this is. I cringed so hard, but not gonna lie, I found her kinda relatable. The FL and her friends are crazy--and they're very much my kind of people :)
I'm staying just for Nicholas Saputra but it feels soo excruciating
I bailed out less than 1 episode, unfortunately. I'm perfectly okay with him being the bad guy, but I do wish he has more screen time; I'd probably still watch this if he did 😂
I think both prime minister and his father are physically ill and they both want to live free from this illness
The grandfather (ex-president) is the PM's maternal grandfather, not paternal grandfather, so it's only natural that the grandfather doesn't share their illness.
