Hey, this is such an interesting idea for an article! Kudos for writing it :)
Legit question, though (to anybody who might know the answer, not just @Size15FeetJames). Has there been a Korean movie with elements of western besides The Good, The Bad, and the Weird? I know Japan has quite a lot of those but what about South Korea?
At the risk of boring you to death with the same phrase every time you release an article: THANK YOU.
I'm kinda excited that NHK decides to make a taiga about the rise of Kamakura shogunate. (That seems to be the focus, I think?) But unless NGN airs it simultaneously while it's airing in Japan, I guess the chance of getting it subbed is pretty slim.
In case anybody's wondering (because I did wonder), it seems like this weekend they're going to air a special episode, basically just a summary of previous episodes. That's why we won't get episode 9 until December 11.
Dramacool snatches subtitles from official broadcasters or fansubbers. If it's not officially available or no fansubber picks this up, Dramacool won't have it subbed.
Apologies if I keep lamenting under this drama I will continuously comeback to complain until there are subs .....…
The irony is that since a lot of dramas have official subs these days, people don't bother to fansub stuff anymore (outside of Viki). I don't think any of the fansubbing groups that were active in the 2000s and early 2010s are still around.
Thank you so much. And please take all the time that you need. I really liked your subs for Konto ga Hajimaru, and I just know you're going to do great working on this one too.
Thank you so much for writing and sharing this, guys. I could definitely see myself coming back multiple times to this article in the future for recs and reference. Amazing tribute to an amazing actor.
I dont see any promotions with this and what is the legal streaming site partnered?
I'm guessing it's because TV Chosun is a smaller cable channel so they might not have the budget comparable to terrestrial channels or larger cable channels like tvN/JTBC.
First of all, let me say this: Congratulations for making such a comprehensive article. I can see your hard work and dedication in making this article (the research alone!). Thank you so much for writing this and sharing it with us :)
Lots of interesting stuff, but I'll wait when they're subbed because I don't want to get my hopes up. Thank you for compiling this, @OAL and @chiha! :D
Episodes 5-10- https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mMrK7NKU9cjOjyYWwGDes90Oyn-zAElc- Episode 4 has been removed…
Thank you for doing this and sharing your subs with us, Tsubakii404. Oh, and I would like to ask for your permission to upload the subs for eps. 9 and 10 to Subscene, crediting you, for course.
Since it gets asked constantly, let me write this down.
This drama is FANSUBBED by neet21_@Twitter (up to episode 4, at the time of this writing) and Yoshizaki Green (eps 4-8). You can get the subs on Subscene (Green has also shared the subs here--scroll below). As for the raws, please Google them. (Or please spend some time to scroll down. Someone has kindly shared the links.)
And for the love of God, please don't ask the subbers when they will release the subs. It's annoying and, more importantly, disrespectful. They volunteer to sub this drama and we're not paying customers, so we have no rights to demand anything of them. They will release it when and if they can finish it.

And for anyone's interested, Vee of icedhojichasubs has decided to sub Kaya and Mamiya Shotaro's Fight Song: https://subs.icedhojicha.com/announcement/announcement-fight-song/

It might be region-locked, though.

Edit: In case anyone needs it, here's how to watch video with softsubs: https://www.wikihow.com/Add-Subtitles-to-a-Movie/Video-on-VLC (it says "VLC" but it basically can work with any media player)
