Shizun’s new drama, Shadow Punisher, will air tomorrow at 12 PM China time on iQIYI. LYX fans, let’s watch it together! This is an awesome article summarizing the drama's plot and production team. For those who watched Whispers of Fate, 3 brothers from that cast will be reunited in Shadow Punisher!
What a thorough article, packed with juicy information. I’m seated; so far, what I’ve seen is better than my initial expectation. As Luo Yunxi's last drama for a while, I’ll enjoy his brilliant acting. Always curious how he portrays one character to another.
Not every C-drama fan is a romance fan. Intl fans’ preferences ≠ mainland China’s market. Calling a drama…
I get that most MDL users love romance, but above user dropping by just to say will flop solely because no romance is rude. Let’s not forget Whispers of Fate had zero romance yet brought Mango TV its highest quarterly revenue in 12 yrs & became its most-watched drama in a decade. Overseas tastes might differ, but it still pulled 1 billion views in Thailand alone! While we don’t expect anything for this drama due to a smaller investment and zero promotion, WoF proves that a good story doesn't need romance to succeed.

Excellent article, how did you get so much information for this drama? LOL
Finally, I will get to see Li Si this Friday. It's 3x in the row Luo Yunxi dramas were announced by Xinhua news first then followed by Official account a minute later. So many trailers, poster, bts today......
The trailer looks good! With 30 episodes unraveling 6 cases alongside 1 main plot, looks like suspense-filled ride with no room for filler.
6 deeply intriguing cases: • The Bewitched Children: A strange, mystical flower cast a spell over young children. • The Foreshadowing Box: A mysterious magic box that predicts a gruesome murder. • The Floating Corpse: The bones of a floating body rise to reveal the true culprit. • The Immortal's Ascent: An immortal reportedly attains enlightenment and ascends to heaven. • The Shadow Puppet Madman: A thrilling mystery revolving around a crazed puppeteer. • The Underworld Faction: The sinister Li Luo faction from the underworld closes in, putting the countess in mortal peril.
All we need now is the official airing date……But this prime to air this Friday Oct 2nd…at 12.00 am. Too many leaked documents pointing to Friday release.
The currently airing costume drama from Qiyi has it’s VIP finale today.
What is Luo Yunxi doing these days ? No other new projects are there , besides shadow punisher which will most…
LYX has chosen not to join any dramas because he needs a clean break from his long-time agency. They have been pressuring him to join several dramas so they can co-produce them. This year, he focused on music: he held 3 concerts with a total attendance of 48,000, released a new album, wrote and composed many songs, sang at several major galas, and performed at multiple music festivals. Shadow Punisher is scheduled to air this Friday, Oct 2nd.
