His next costume drama SP/PD producer claimed the same, said in interview thanking LYX for being the key to open his drama, Qiyi has rejected that S+ drama for 3 years in the row but directly approved bcs of LYX agreed on this projects.
His next drama to be filmed melon (which is his break up drama with his current agency), the producer has been waiting for him summer 2023, they visited him on the filming set in 2023. Immortality drama waited for LYX for 2 years from persuading him to accept the role and waiting for his available filming time. There were no other candidate.

Not sure if you noticed, but during the 1stweek of Whispers of Fate airing, hundreds of accounts bombed the rating—dropping it from 8.3 to 7.9 in just one hour. I actually saw it happen live. Then they went over to IMDb and dragged it down from 9.8 to 7.6 overnight. Both slowly back to 8.3 and IMDB 8.6 About 3 weeks after it started airing, one fandom got upset with WoF achievement and began downgrading all his dramas, including WoF, again pushing it from 8.3 down to 7.9 again. Luckily, it’s been climbing back up slowly to 8.1, and IMDb is also returning to normal. If you check Douban, all his drama ratings are low compared to similar dramas production that scored much higher.

LYX has relied on his acting, while his agency forced itself as co-producer to insert their own artists—essentially, “if you want LYX, his agency must became co-producer, and must use several of their artists” With his departure from his agency inevitable, we hope he joins a stronger company that can also secure good modern drama projects. So far, he has never played ML in big IP; instead, the IPs became big because of him.
Yesterday, the original scriptwriter of The Truth Within (Peeling Cocoon) revealed that the script was written 5 years ago and sold for adaptation, but despite many interests, still no production. At the time, he regretted not publishing the story as a novel first, since a successful book could have provided the IP foundation to ease the drama’s path.

Because of Lyx, the drama finally received approval, and the writer expressed heartfelt gratitude to Luo Yunxi for helping bring his work to life. During development, the script underwent revisions, and eventually another writer stepped in. Initially, the original writer worried that the story might be altered beyond recognition, but after watching the final drama, he is happy to see that all the cases remained intact.
Before the drama aired, the producers even asked him to write second season, which is why the current series has “Season 1.”
The 2nd WOF concert in Shenzhen has been postponed indefinitely, a decision many ML fans view as inevitable. LOL, he is......love the no filter we can see everyone skin in real. And you know no slimming face filter. I've been called out by some who never believe there is slimming filter in C Drama, and you just have to look at drama like this when they are presented in no filter. All idol drama has face thinning filter, the proof, pick one actor/actress, look at their drama then find CCTV lens on their face and compared, or compare it with some leak pictures taken by non fans.

Also today, Datawin awarded top crown for SLY as top 1 effective views for marital art drama in 2025 and top 1 average per episode views for marital art drama in 2025. Just image if SLY airs without competition like Till the end of the moon in 2023, instead of head to head with 5 other traffic actor drama airing the same time. The above CVB rating also confirmed that SLY is top 3 in term of viewership from Satellite TV views in 2025, the only costume drama on the top 3.

I’ve got arachnophobia too, so I had to skip the opening scene. 😅 Luckily I watched during the day and not on a big screen. As for Han Feng’s personality, he doesn’t seem very meticulous in his work—more like the classic Hong Kong police portrayal.
Qing Yue & Hang Feng characters are as clear as blue sky. But Qi Si Zhe? Still wrapped in mystery—something hidden, something deeper – like thunder cloud. And that’s exactly what makes it so thrilling. his micro-expressions are incredibly well-controlled. Many subtle changes in his expressions convey the character's complex emotions and emotional turmoil.
Just read a review of Peeling Cocoon (ep 1–4) by a well known forensic doctor. He praised the forensic scenes as realistic and true to actual procedures. He commented on LYX, nailed it—calm, composed, reacting only to evidence, just like a real forensic professional.
