Xi Fang Tao, our veggie queen, whipped up three dishes—cold noodles, spicy mapo tofu, and stir-fried garlic greens like a pro, with her elegant manner. Meanwhile, Monk Pu Zhu kept it monk-simple: tomatoes, sliced, sugar sprinkled. Then he turned into Xi Fang Tao’s sous chef.
Chi Yun, ex-bandit turned cucumber assassin, checked a soy sauce pickle recipe online, and cold cucumber pickle was served.
And last but not least, Shen Lang Hun, our no.1 assassin… Last time he cooked, the kitchen almost burned. Nervously checked his recipe like 12 times, asked everyone if his dish was edible, and still looked like he was a fish out of water… very cute, my no.1 source of laughter 😂. Thank you.

I cried more for TTJ than TLC, but I still feel there is a amazing skillful actor behind TTJ, but TLC is himself and not an actor role. I loved both and of course Runyu too.

Allen’s been around for a while—I must’ve seen him in dramas before but never took notice. His excellent portrayal of Liu Yan changed that. The role of Liu Yan might be the catalyst that launches him to greater stardom. And yes, I can’t hate LY either because Allen portrays him too well, especially at the end when he realizes he was wrong.
