Unfortunately it is a bit pretentious to expect a faithful reproduction of the book. Only in the 80s and 90s was there a tendency to replicate. You can't give a low rating just because of the distance from the book. However forgive me, you can't give 7.5 to this work and 9 to princess royal. Zhang Linghe himself said that he had seen it and that he would like to make a similar masterpiece with powerful actors. Linghe himself judged it superior to everything he did. XD !
I think it depends on the audience's perception on this matter but the main issue was the communication barrier(…
I don’t think so, I know some Japanese guys and I assure you that they would not have behaved like him. However, although some behaviors are culturally specific but they break down for a sense of inner loneliness, three whole episodes speak of loneliness. She goes to Japan to escape a sense of inner confusion, she was already sick of her own.
in addition to being very rude you are also limited because you didn't understand anything of what you saw. Yet the dramas are easy to understand! Poor heart
forgive me if I don't mind my own business but I read the review before following the drama and now I can confirm that the theme of this work is loneliness, it is a very existential work. Cultural differences are peripheral but are not the reason that leads to the breakup.
Hi, I agree with every word you expressed. It's a fan service series, a surrogate of clichés, if the actor had been someone else it wouldn't have even reached 7 score. I didn't like the actress. I abandoned at the 13th episode because I had reached the limit. In summary I can say that it is poorly made and that byeon didn't even prove himself as a great actor, the love is expressed through yearning but together the two of them have nothing special and not even this hot chemistry. I wonder what they saw and how this drama has such high ratings despite 1100 people here agreeing with you, about the really low quality of the drama.
I really don't know to continue watching because in the second or third episode... I don't remember, two main actors panting over the desert, seemed unbelievable, grotesque and too fake to me. In the meantime Ruo Wen was busy with the real princess enaqi but the scene only seemed courageous to me on paper, not to the end. It seems to me like a drama that wants to try to bring physicality to the stage without showing it fully, as a spectator I feel cheated.
Having spent time watching a lot of cdramas i'm familar with the use of traffic stars over more seasoned actors,…
Do you see a dream of splendor or lost you forever? Zhang Yi and Liu Yifei are certainly up to the roles, quite mature and self-confidence with their acting. Same goes for zhang wan yi and luo yunxi, in my opinion.
Unfortunately this is a common problem in China. They hire actors including models, idols, influencers based on the approval rating so they make sure they have a slice of the audience. If you want to see real actors I advise you to choose less famous dramas, with mature actors aged at least 4 years, such as the story of ming lang, dream of splendor and the only exception, lost you forever, which I reviewed. You can read my reviews by translating with google chrome cause I write in italian. Greetings.
Thank you. I'll try to get over it and pretend the last episode doesn't exist, but am feeling pretty devastated…
so in the novel the queen doesn't exist in the body with memories and feelings like in the drama? Does she only appear at the end? Because in the drama, memories, desires and feelings are those of the queen who reappears after the Sigwol incident, even with skills that he didn't have before (playing the zither for example)
I also thought that I would feel uncomfortable seeing a straight man and a wominazer attracted to another man but the fact is that the queen also lives in his body, in fact the feelings are starting to be rediscovered after the Sigwol incident which brings back the feelings memories of the queen so it's as if two entities coexisted in the same body and he often says this. The original queen had always been in love with the king. For the rest, if the king doesn't realize that the queen has returned it's because it's a comedy not to be taken too seriously.
Persino…
In truth you might think I'm a fan but I don't follow any of the actors in the cast and I mainly watch historical Chinese dramas. Simply, when they write heresies or talk about events that didn't happen or trivialize or make me think that they don't understand, if I have time I waste time on it. I am a vehement person by nature. LOL
I agree with you on everything, in fact I also wrote a similar review. Frankly, this late, almost sudden falling in love with the protagonist is very poorly written. Is it possible that I missed something? She begins to realize her feelings for Chen from episode 33 after 33 episodes of thinking and pining for Wan, right?
I saw the drama and I agree with you on the overall quality but Zhang also didn't shine. I don't think this job is terrible just for her part but in general the couple doesn't work, it's not a couple that knows how to communicate honestly, in fact she often asks him to be more honest and fight together but he excludes her from everything. She's annoying but he puts his own spin on it. Physically they had no transport and I found his crying fake and very studied, almost caricatural. Good in action scenes, less so in romantic scenes. The only one I save in this poorly written and worse rendered work is Wang Shuo
dear friend, sorry if I ask you, but wouldn't it be better to insert a review arriving at least halfway or a little more through watching the episodes? I'm telling you this because there are many dramas that started very well and ended very badly or lost pace or turned out to be something else or the opposite.
