Started watching right after you did. I have mixed feelings with this drama, espousing all the negative and positive comments on this page. I love the wuxia elements here, but the non-urgency demeanor really gets me. That's why I couldn't breath, or else I'll start screaming @*%&$^#*@.

I give up!

If you don't care whether if there is a HEA ending, or not a fan nor anti of Xiao Zhan, then you may like this drama a lot :)

MDL has consolidated part 1 & part 2 into just one drama as the way it's being released on TV. It is by itself a complete drama.

She got some potion from Yao Ji to make her strong. That's why she could fight the palace soldiers single-handedly. The tradeoff was she would be poisoned and died. She was prepared for this because she didn't want to live alone without Bo Wang who was dying. Yao Ji had told her everything.

Yes, that's why my heart is always for Bo Wang; I feel him.

Too slow? I like the pace. So many things are happening. So many characters are introduced, and she's like a sponge, absorbing everything.

Forget about the 31:08 thing. Different platforms have different lengths. It should be more than half way through the episode.

Episode 14, 31:08. Correction, not Ying Pei but rather, Ji Yun Chen tells Xie Meimei about Zhou Fei cutting off the enemy. After Xie Meimei's complaint, Ying Pei just rolls his eyes. So hilarious! That's my favorite scene.

Worth watching? I do need something that makes me laugh out loud :D

I would have preferred they are more serious than having too many of this type of recycled jokes.

That's one thing with wuxia stories - there's a lot of characters come and go. So, don't attach emotionally to any characters except the main ones.

That's kind of the style of wuxia - old people pass on their extinct skills to the chosen and then die themselves.

I also think they've cut out many scenes, especially towards the end of the whole drama. I believe the scenes they've taken out are probably the supernatural stuff of Bo Wang, and without those scenes, they've made him an earthly being.

I laughed at that scene when Yin Pei says Zhou Fei is cutting off the enemy, Xie Meimei says, "What? She's cutting off my 'hou' (implying what if she dies and he will not have any descendants with her)." There are so many such little funny gestures and dialogues here and there, but sometimes if overly used, may make the show less exciting and more just a silly comedy.

Right, instead of run, run, run, they joke, banter, dilly dally. Sigh!
