Definitely must watch, especially if you're a Steven's fan. Though he doesn't get the girl whom he thinks he want, he will get his true love eventually. He's a very lovable character in this drama. Very genuine and strong. Don't worry about the heartaches he is going through. He'll make it and come out stronger. He's been nurtured with great values by the foster father.

I feel such transition is very subtle and can take awhile or an instant. We don't really know except Jianjian herself eventually perhaps. Sometimes, when an old shoe is so comfortable that it's hard to change immediately, as in the labels of 'Ge' and boyfriend as such. What do you think?

I would imagine the name to have the same characters or homophones of their names, given Ling Xiao such a sentimental person. Would be interesting to find out later what it is. He really has thought far in building a life with Jianjian, that is the only incentive for him to get through everyday (so heartbreaking); Ziqiu just wants to protect the status quo of the family.

Ling Xiao's feelings for Jianjian have been very open from the beginning despite he hasn't gone around telling everyone, but as audience, we can see it straight away. For Jianjian, it's more subtle. The feelings are there but she doesn't know what it is, thinking it's just platonic, as Ling Xiao puts it, she is late in maturity - same with her period XD. In another words, Jianjian is a late developer, in every sense - emotionally and physically.
