To tell the truth, even after watching this drama for the umpteenth time, I still have so many questions unanswered;…
Like your question, where is Xue Yang's Yin metal? Lan Zhan's piece detects it, but they can't find it on him. Where does he hide it? It doesn't seem plausible that it's with JGY because before Wei Ying and gang bring Xue Yang back to Qing He, I don't think JGY knows Xue Yang at all.
My other question is, what is JGY trying to find in the coffin in the temple? The other piece of Yin metal? But I thought they have used it to make the other stygian tiger seal already.
Was it Jin Ling's spirit that is answering Lan Zhan's "Inquiry" in the Stone Castle? Does that mean Jin Ling dies in there and revived by Wei Ying?
My greatest mystery of all is, how NHS finds Wei Ying, even Han GuanJun cannot, given Lan Zhan has a higher cultivation than NHS. How does NHS also find Mo XuanYu to convince him to give up his body and soul to bring back Wei Ying?
Questions abound and yet answers not found despite re-watching multiple times.
No matter what, still my favorite drama of all time. XD.
This is also make me confused... in Drama i think Xue yang hide some Yin metal (sword) in xuanwu cave and later…
You're right. In the anime, there are no Yin metal pieces, and Wei Ying encounters spirits and ghosts a lot earlier than in the drama when he cultivates them.
Maybe you can use the feed which would appear on the home page so that everyone can read your message. I wonder if you do it every now and then, it shouldn't be considered as spam, right?
In ep 10, where is Xue Yang hiding the Yin metal? They don't find it on him and in the Chang house so is it with…
To tell the truth, even after watching this drama for the umpteenth time, I still have so many questions unanswered; your question is one of them. Normally under such circumstances, I would have dropped the show and leave a below 5/10 rating. But for this drama, I just feel those questions are not important anymore (though it's nice to know the answers). I still love and enjoy it nonetheless. I know this doesn't make sense. ......
A lot of Chinese romance dramas like to portray women as airheads and when they fall for their men, they would do anything to win the men's hearts, including degrading themselves. It's so hard to watch sometimes. I love "Go Go Squid", but mostly for the charismatic male character, Han Shang Yan. The huge difference in The Untamed is that there's no one chasing after anyone per se. Despite Lan Zhan's deep love for Wei Ying, he does it with dignity and subtly. That's why the relationship is so beautiful and trumps all other dramas.
This drama has turned bromance into a huge joke! There are a million tiny hints that have left me speechless,…
Yep! Even the Chinese title Chen Qing Ling has a very deep meaning, apart from being the name of the bamboo flute. Ever wonder why they didn't use the novel's title? I feel the character "Qing" (affection) here is a very subtle reminder of what the whole thing is all about.
As of today, 10/14/2019, we have already had 6,187 watchers and 2,850 ratings of this drama on MDL. Let's hope the numbers supersede the most watched/popular dramas on MDL.
Your words are like my words, echoing deep in my heart. We can all see how the directors have been trying to make…
Exactly, it's supposed to be serious, but they made it non serious. I can see why some viewers don't like it because it looks amateurish, but viewers like me don't really care because I find it charming. As for running away from a supposedly ferocious animal, I don't think anyone would have run like the way Wei Ying does, albeit he looks cute. :)
Just another fan, here to express my love for CQL. Finished this drama two months ago but I still can't get over…

We can all see how the directors have been trying to make this a 'light' drama, by inserting various 'amateurish/non-serious' elements into the story, such as the way Wei Ying runs away from the dog, the way Wen Ning fights with Song Ran (jumping in and out of buildings and trying to strangle each other), the way Lan Zhan goes after Xue Yang (like kids playing soldiers) and many others. But at the same time, they have also brilliantly made so many scenes that are so heart-wrenching that make us all emotional and cry. I really commend on the amazing work these directors have done. They have really produced something that hundreds of thousands of us appreciate and will never forget.

Kudos for them all!
