My goodness! You scout through weibo as well? You're a true fan through and through XD. I don't even know how to navigate weibo; there are so many things there that it's confusing (I'm dumb, I know). I don't understand what they're saying anyway. It's holiday season in China. Not that much news from our favorite actors in the last few days :( Let us know if you find anything interesting. :)
Guys!! Beside The Living Dead movie for which we have already seen the trailer, there will be another movie called…
This is going to be very interesting, but I would have preferred an Untamed 2.0, or WangXian. (Calling on Directors and Producers: Quick! Strike while the rods are hot!)
Period Chinese drama are really good compared to kdrama, but i still having hard time to find chinese modern drama…
That's very true. I love Chinese historical dramas, be they palace settings, wuxia or xianxia. The only thing is in romances, how they make people fall in love - women are usually air-headed and fall easily into the men's arms, and bingo!
I agree and as a drama fan, I watch all kinds of Asian dramas even though my favorite prefer dramas are romance.…
This is a drought period. No good dramas whatever. Don't think I can enjoy any other dramas after The Untamed. In fact, I find re-watching this drama is more enjoyable than watching other new dramas.
The episode when both Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo appeared? Yes, I watched that numerous times. That's how I learn about their personalities off screen. Wang Yibo still hosts the "Day Day Up" show. There are also some super funny moments.
Well it's really difficult (in my case though) to make my friends interested in Chinese drama (even the Chinese…
I know what you mean. I try it on my family too. No takers. I play the OSTs constantly, even on the piano myself non-stop (it sounds really bad, just like when Wei Ying plays with the make-shift flute. Perhaps that's why I put them off XD). Still zip! I guess, some people are 'homophobic', some just don't like c-dramas, some feel The Untamed amateurish, and some for a host of other reasons.
Yes, initially, we thought they split, but they didn't. Watch till the very end. There's a call, "Wei Ying". That's…
I tried, looked everywhere but couldn't see Lan Zhan's reflection. Do I need to visit an eye doctor? Or you just want me to have that beautiful image to stay in my mind? XD.
I absolutely agree with you. That's why I call myself ChineseDramaFan; I watch only Chinese dramas. When I first…
To add, not that other dramas are not as good, just that, there are too many just from China alone. One only has one pair of eyes, one brain, and 24 hours to digest everything.
I absolutely agree with you. That's why I call myself ChineseDramaFan; I watch only Chinese dramas. When I first started, I realize China was churning out dramas after dramas in a dizzying speed, and their dramas were getting better and better, especially the historical ones. Only in the last couple of years, they try to maximize their profits by making filler episodes that destroy a lot of things. Now with the new rulings of the length of the dramas, I truly hope Chinese dramas will become dominant again.
Has anyone else seen this video? It has some nice catches for subtle scenes. Especially that WWX is wearing LWJ…
Yes, absolutely adorable. These are the subtleties that one misses easily, but are so important to portray their (Lan Zhan's and Wei Ying's) closeness.
Apparently I watched the cut version, why do they air an incomplete story? Now rewatching the beginning of the…
Yes, the uncut version gives a better explanation why Li Cheng Yin did what he did. I became more empathized with him in the uncut version. I hated him in the cut version in my first viewing - we all did at the time before the uncut version was released.
It has various links for various countries on this page.
