This is my second Earth-Mix drama after Moonlight Chicken and wow I love them together so much. Their dramas feel so much more mature than other BLs (not set in school for one thing) and they (mostly) don't overdo the cheesy fan service (the cheesy face washing scene was an exception but I'll allow it 😏).

Mix is a strong actor and he puts in a lovely, subtle performance here. Earth is not a strong actor but he looks like that and has great chemistry with Mix so it's forgiveable (and honestly he's better than some bigger GMMTV names).

I know they aren't in the top tier couples but I hope they do more work together.

Try looking on Amazon on a laptop or desktop instead of using the app, some people have been having problems with finding episodes on the app for some reason

I wonder if anyone feels differently about the romance after today's episode. I don't love it, I don't hate it, but I have to admit that moment where she saves Rang (again) then he kisses her was pretty epic.

I dropped in ep 6, I couldn't deal with how the show kept humiliating the FL and making her look like a shallow idiot plus the side characters range from annoying to repugnant. The ML is okay I guess, nothing special tbh. Most people I know who have finished this weren't happy with how it all played out.

The best thing for me is the s1 FL only appears in s2 in a few flashbacks. I thought the s1 romance was so boring. S2 focuses on the relationship between Yeon and Rang and new characters like the female former mountain god who are fantastic. Also lots of action and comedy.

So this is fascinating: a friend in Australia who just watched eps 9 & 10 says the Auschwitz scene has been cut out 🤯 She says now the scene goes from Bora saying her plan is getting pretty to them getting into his car. It's wild to me that there was no apology, just snip snip snip.

I dropped it too. They spent way too much time on a breakup between a couple we never cared about, the FL is constantly humiliating herself and they made a horrible insensitive joke about Auschwitz/the Holocaust. I'm reading comments to see how the show winds up.

I hate that she's a purposely an embarrassing character. I don't understand why the writers keep humiliating her over and over again making her sound like an idiot. For the crime of being a dating influencer with a messy dating life? She's constantly losing her dignity while the ML doesn't. It doesn't sit right with me

The movie theater was playing a Charlie Chaplin film called The Kid and it was a scene where they were being chased by the police. Also for those who missed it there was a reference to a film called the Battleship Potemkin when the baby carriage went down the steps.

The writer referenced Viktor Frankl who wrote a memoir about being at Auschwitz so you can't say this person is ignorant about European history, they knew enough to know about the book which makes it worse because it's not done in ignorance.
