is it me, but I am very lost in the first episode!!!
I think a lot of people felt that way after the first episode, I know I did. But then I fell in love with everything about this drama. (If you have any specific questions I'll happily try to help you!)
It looks like this one isn't subbed. In a way I don't care, because I've come to sort of dislike the "I'm alredy x years old and I'm still single!" stories. In another way I really, really want to watch a romance drama with Fujiki Naohito as the main lead!
I loved this drama SO much. I did find the first episode confusing because of all the characters, and I think it took me a few episodes to start to fully enjoy this drama, but once I was under its spell I really became addicted to it - so much that I tried to resist getting to the end of it because I wanted it to last forever. I completed it last night and I don't know when I'll be able to stop thinking about it. For me it was definitely the best drama I watched this year.
He is so great as prince Jing and I heard that he uses his own voice in dramas which is awesome, his voice is…
Wait a minute, what? Is it normal that actors' voices are subbed in dramas??
He's not my type looks-wise (General Meng, please!), but I really, really like his voice! (Prince Jing was my first time seeing him.) What I wanted to know (but there is no such info on this page!) was if he's also a singer, because that would be awesome! <3
Your review says it all. I still have two more episodes to watch but I don't want this to end yet. I don'¨t even know why I'm here reading reviews... if it's not for that reason. I wasn't sure what to think after the first episode, but by now I feel that this drama is perfect. And I guess I just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading how you described everything I feel. :)
I haven't watched it yet, but my sisters says that this drama is great and Kim Myung Ming performance was amazing,…
Your sister is right. KMM is amazing and the story is great, and there is nothing wrong with this drama at all. The rating, I think, is because some fangirls like the younger guy better. I guess they just don't understand KMM's character. This drama is overwhelmingly underrated.
Does anyone have any good recommendations aside from the ones already listed, I'm looking for historical romance…
I have only watched one and a half Chinese dramas so far but one is a wonderful historical romance without wuxia. (Well, it has some but very little, it's just that the main character jumps over rooftops occasionally.) Sound of the desert, give it a try!
Wow ep9 was really sad, I can't understand parent's who would try to kill their kids even in desperation. I find…
I see, we agree. :) Yeah, it was a decent drama and easy and enjoyable enough to watch, even if some things were a bit rushed and without substance. Few dramas are "perfect" after all.

I'm curious, did you find the final episode satifying? I always thought Momoko's family was really creepy and the flashbacks made me uncomfortable (poor little child!) but in the end I found the mother to be almost too much of an evil cartoon villain... Her husband's infidelity obviously made her completely broken inside. I still think her behaviour is unnatural and doesn't make sense, though. The thing that makes even less sense to me though is the father. So he apologized? Well, that's good, but how did he act during all of her life? Such a weak and irresponsible father!
I still liked the drama, though! It always kept me interested. :)
The Secret History (Donna Tartt)
Kafka on the Shore (Haruki Murakami)
Possession (A.S. Byatt)
Something by J.C. Oates I guess, like Bellefleur
These books have nothing in common with Nirvana in Fire, though. They say that The Count of Monte-Christo comes close!

My favorite snack is sourcream & onion flavored potato chips, and my favorite candy is chocolate from Fazer or Lindt.
