Thank you so much! This is going to be my PTW-list from now on.

Good list! :) I have only watched some of them.

I haven’t watched #1, 4, 5, 7-9, 11-13, 15, 16, 18.

Out of the ones I have watched, I LOVE Begin Again but I didn’t really like My Happy Ending (I have forgotten why). I liked the others.

Looking through your list I feel like most of them sound good, I don’t know where to begin! :)

Hahaha, I understand! Yeah, it’s crazy how some fans don’t want negative opinions to exist.

I’d love some recommendations, thanks! My preferences… well, I guess it depends on my mood, but generally I prefer:
-grownup characters (around 40 or older or in their 30s)
- friendship or found family as a main theme is nice ( but not a must)
- Friendship that leads to love suits me better than enemies to lovers
- Sometimes I’m in a melodrama mood and like to watch crazy rich people and revenge, but the plot can’t be too dumb
- often I prefer quieter dramas, where character development is more important than action
- I like dramas with a poetic and introspective atmosphere
- I’m always kind of surprised if I find myself liking comedy, but sometimes a nice romcom is fun too (Perfect and Casual was adorable, The Forbidden Flower was great, until the story focused too much on the mother)
- I don’t much care for noona romance (some exceptions like Secret Love Affair, Find Yourself), I prefer ahjussis (because the MLs in noona romances are often too young for my taste)
- I like historical dramas, but lately I’ve been bored with everything because it seems everything is about a poor Cinderella and a guy who wants revenge and together they change the world blah blah blah, or a guy who does this without a girl
- I don’t mind if they die in the end
- When it comes to very good dramas like Go Ahead and Meet Yourself, I loved most things but for me the romance wasn’t the main part at all. When people call Go Ahead a romcom I wonder if we watched the same drama. I had nothing against the romance in MYS, the relationship was natural and good, but all the other characters in the drama were good too. For me Will Love in Spring wasn’t as good because it was more about the romance and less about the community.
- And now this list is too long… right now I don’t know what I’m in the mood for, just something that isn’t boring!

I just finished it and I have to admit I skipped scenes in the last few episodes. I got bored before I was halfway through. If you feel that way, do what I didn’t do and drop it.

Title Love between Lines Spoiler
Here is my 10 episodes review..(Dropped) Love Between Lines is pleasant, soft, warm, and visually very pretty,…
I recommend not picking it up. Yes, the OST is good and the FL is cute but I think it got more and more boring. Those ”uninvited relatives” you mention… so annoying, how many times will they come back in drama after drama?! If you feel like that after 10 episodes there is nothing that will make it better. I think the game scenes were pretty fun but after they get together it’s just about him trying to clear his father’s name, Pei Jr making trouble, the couple acting sugary cute and everyone drinking iced americano.

I don’t know about you but I feel like it’s so hard to find good C-dramas these days, dramas that don’t just repeat the same old things but make you feel something. They’re all so bland and predictable.

Title 10Dance
Will there be a second part or what? acting was excellent, and the chemistry between the main couple was amazing—my…
Yes, I really agree with you! The writing was disorganized for sure, but the chemistry was amazing.

Title 10Dance
The chemistry was 10/10 but the character development was really lacking, the female leads barely had any character…
Completely agree. I really liked the first part, but the second part was weird. Not much of a plot, as if the writer got tired of the story after barely starting it! I did love the ending (because it was beautiful) but I didn't get it. It made very little sense and it was strange to just end it like that.

I didn't like this ending at all. As others have mentioned, having exact duplicates of all the cooks in the present…
I agree, it would have been better if she had stayed in the past. She got used to life there and fell in love with him so why not. But has there ever been a time travel drama where the main character hasn't returned? I think another option would have been she returned, he remained, both of them kept their memories but nothing more. People would have hated that though! Personally I don't have a problem with "unhappy" endings.

My theory of how he got back. There was a manjurock that had not been discovered from the future that was left…
It is a good theory, thanks for sharing. It makes sense, but it should have been included in the drama. I think the last episode should have focused on how he got to the future (and how he adapted to it...) instead of all that fighting. The whole drama was about her and her cooking anyway so prince Jesan and all that should have stayed in the background. For me the ending felt rushed and not well connected to the rest of the story.
On Bon Appetit, Your Majesty Sep 28, 2025
The ending was the weirdest ever. How did he get there, and when he got there, how did he not get absolutely confused by the modern world, how did he find her and how did he get appropriate clothes?! I know you can't expect everything in a time travel drama to make perfect sense but that felt like a very rushed and lazy ending. It would have been better if he went with her at the same time and they woke up at the hospital together. It would even have been better if she never returned to the present at all. Also, the last episode kind of felt like a different drama...

Anyway, I enjoyed watching it and as a food drama it was great.

Hi, I think you might like Tell Me That You Love Me, I'm a fan of MLN too and i started airport yesterday and…
Hi, I love that I still get recommedations based on my comment! I guess those of us who enjoy quiet, peaceful dramas look out for each other, which is nice. :) I never considered watching Tell Me That You Love Me because I've watched the Japanese orignal. First because I tend to only want to watch the same story once, but also because I loved the original at first but hated the ending. Now that I looked uo Tell Me... more closely, I believe that that they changed the ending. I guess that sort of means it can count as a different story so maybe I'll watch it. :)

Try Love Affairs in the Afternoon... yep literally an affair... but it's got what you're after... quiet gentleness…
Thanks for the suggestion. I have watched the Japanese version years ago, so I'm not sure I want to watch it. (It was good, but I mean I feel like I've already watched the same story.)

I don’t think it’s worth 8.9 *lol* but I think it helps that it’s 12 episode and not 16. The ML doesn’t make sense to me, but I don’t think it’s too bad for makjang. But I’m not trying to convince you to not drop it!

It doesn't get better or worse. It's like that, Lots of things don't make sense and/or are clichés, but I still think it's watchable. For a "married couple goes through something dark" drama, I don't think it's that bad.

I like dramas about classical music too. Quartet is a very good drama, very funny! https://kisskh.at/21742-quartet

The absolutely wonderful drama A Piece of Your Mind has some good music in it because the FL is a classical music reccording engineer. https://kisskh.at/38491-half-of-half

You and I on the G-string was not great, but pretty cute. Adults who starts to learn the violin. https://kisskh.at/39095-you-and-i-on-the-g-string

Long Vacation also has some music scenes, the male lead is a pianist. https://kisskh.at/1393-long-vacation (not great but a typical nice j-drama)

Orange Days, a j-drama classic! https://kisskh.at/264-orange-days

When the Weather is Nice, the FL plays the cello.

Some other dramas about music, but not classical
