Wow first time Korea is doing a remake of a swedish series, haven’t tho watched the swedish original Love Me…
You can always give it a chance and drop it if you don't like it. It's one of my all time favourite dramas. In…
Well, she is not his love interest from the start (he tries to get his ex back) and they don't get along, yet they keep on meeting and interacting, they start helping each other (as I recall it). Before they know it, they rely on each other and feelings start to grow. It takes a while but they get there and I loved it.
I'm watching this and enjoying it (just watched episode 13), but the middle part of the synopsis is very misleading. I started watching expecting them to start some kind of online cooking class or something together, because it says that she "embarks on a new career", and that they have "different teaching styles". I like it as it is, but I think a cooking class drama would have been nice too. *lol*
I read all the comments here and still I am not able to decide if I should give this a chance.
You can always give it a chance and drop it if you don't like it. It's one of my all time favourite dramas. In the beginning, the characters may seem a bit frustrating, but you'll soon get to know them and care about them deeply. The main character hasn't had an easy life. But it's really about him becoming "a better man". It's not just romance, it's about different types of important relationships and soon enough this drama becomes so heartwarming and lovable!
Liu Yi Fei with Huang Xiao Ming were perfect together already in Return of the Condor Heroes (https://kisskh.at/402-return-of-the-condor-heroes-2006),…
Oh, I didn't know that. Looks like it's worth checking out. :)
I would like to see these pairings, with only a couple of people that you already mentioned:
Liu Yi Fei with Huang Xiao Ming (maybe a modern romance where she's a chef and he falls for her through her cooking...) Xu Ruo Han with Shawn Dou (cute, heartwarming modern romance; she's good at that, and while SD isn't one of my favourites, I could see them together) Jing Tian with Hu Ge or Huang Xiao Ming (suspenseful mystery where they don't trust each other at first; is she a femme fatale, is there something dark and dangerous behind his elegance?) Qin Lan with Yang Shuo (put them in something intense and steamy and I'll be in heaven) Tong Yao with Hu Ge (something where she's smart and awesome and he wears suits would be good) Jiang Shu Jing with Yang Shuo (historical drama; princess in gorgeous dresses and pretty things in her hair, he as some kind of soldier or something...
I enjoyed watching the FL (both because she's elegant and gorgeous but also because of her determined personality) and I liked the drama a lot for the most part. I found it captivating and was always interested in how it was going to turn out. The last three episodes ruined it for me. It ended in disappointment and the FL didn't deserve that. The drama is tagged "strong female lead", and I get the feeling that such a person gets punished in a society that values being a good wife to the right man if she values her career more than love. It really disappointed me that the husband turned out to be the killer. He KNEW that she married him without love and yet he couldn't stand seeing her with another man (that he wasn't sure there was anything going on with). And then what? "If I defend her well and stand by her side she'll love me"?! Yes, when it happened I bought it, because I couldn't imagine that he was the real culprit. I dislike him not only for killing but for making her go through all that, and the weirdest thing is that she seemed to forgive him, but she was obviously unhappy in the end. I just really wanted things to end well for her and it made me sad that it didn't.
Someone has read the book?I'd appreciate for your opinion.
I have read the book several times when I was young. It’s about 4 sisters and their loving parents. The family is poor but they always have each other. The oldest sister, Meg, is very gentle and caring. She is the perfect ”little woman” of the 19th century, motherly and good at taking care of the home. The second, Jo, is a tomboy who wants to be a writer and she is upset that there are things that girls ”can’t do”. Once she cuts and sells her hair because they need money. She is best friends with the boy next door. He wants to marry her, but she hates the idea of romance. Eventually, though, she marries an older literature professor. The third sister, Beth, is weak and innocent and she dies in the end, in her early teens. The youngest, Amy, is pretty, artistic and vain. A rich aunt takes her on a trip to Europe. The book is about how they grow from girls to women, finding their ways in life. There is no stolen money in the book, no violence, no selfish parents, no secret society, no crazy rich killer women, no murders, no politician, no one goes to prison, there are no orchids and they do not become rich in the end. Louisa May Alcott would turn in her grave… The book was written in 1868. At the time it was considered to be a good novel meant for everyone to read, but later it was thought of as especially good for young girls. I first read it at the age of 12 and found it utterly lovely. I have no idea why they claim that the drama is based on it, even losely!
