You said exactly what I was feeling and thinking, but was unable to express it as well as you did.Honestly I continued…
Yeah, some dramas just are like this... Sometimes when something gets extremely popular I wonder what kind of weirdo I am for seeing this completely differently. Well, but we're all different and can't always like the same thing as everyone else.
I enjoyed until ep29. They destroyed the boss-employee dynamics by making the ML as ultra rich. Now, FL will looks…
Thanks for your input. I guess I'll not watch it after all. I have nothing against age gaps as such, I just tend to not like how dramas make it look like.
When it's an older woman and a younger man, the woman is often lonely and insecure (even when she's successful and hides it by pretending to be "cold"), while the guy is confident and happy, Sometimes, he's like an excited puppy who won't stop jumping up and down until she smiles - the kind of guy who falls first and follows her around. She's worried about what people will think and that he¨ll be tired of her soon. She may be older, but is often less experienced. It's like the "noona romance" type of woman needs a younger guy to be able to feel free and relaxed in life; she needs to laugh more and have fun, and young people know how to have fun.
Well, maybe it's not always like this, but I find that many are similar. I'd watch a drama with a mature FL who knows what she wants and seduces the ML. Then they can laugh and have fun, but I want her to fall first and be more like a Mrs Robinson... who doesn't lose to a younger girl in the end. *lol*
That's one reason why I prefer older man/younger woman. Or maybe that's because I prefer a mature man to a puppy boy, and the same with women.
Well, of course this is turned out like a general rant, because I don't know what this drama is like...
You described it well about Shi Jian. There was something about her that didn’t quite click but I couldn’t…
It's a couple of years since I watched it, now I mostly remember that it annoyed me but I still completed it! Good to know I'm not the only one. Thank you for reading and commenting!
Wow first time Korea is doing a remake of a swedish series, haven’t tho watched the swedish original Love Me…

Well, she is not his love interest from the start (he tries to get his ex back) and they don't get along, yet they keep on meeting and interacting, they start helping each other (as I recall it). Before they know it, they rely on each other and feelings start to grow. It takes a while but they get there and I loved it.
I'm watching this and enjoying it (just watched episode 13), but the middle part of the synopsis is very misleading. I started watching expecting them to start some kind of online cooking class or something together, because it says that she "embarks on a new career", and that they have "different teaching styles". I like it as it is, but I think a cooking class drama would have been nice too. *lol*
I read all the comments here and still I am not able to decide if I should give this a chance.
You can always give it a chance and drop it if you don't like it. It's one of my all time favourite dramas. In the beginning, the characters may seem a bit frustrating, but you'll soon get to know them and care about them deeply. The main character hasn't had an easy life. But it's really about him becoming "a better man". It's not just romance, it's about different types of important relationships and soon enough this drama becomes so heartwarming and lovable!
Liu Yi Fei with Huang Xiao Ming were perfect together already in Return of the Condor Heroes (https://kisskh.at/402-return-of-the-condor-heroes-2006),…
Oh, I didn't know that. Looks like it's worth checking out. :)
I would like to see these pairings, with only a couple of people that you already mentioned:
Liu Yi Fei with Huang Xiao Ming (maybe a modern romance where she's a chef and he falls for her through her cooking...) Xu Ruo Han with Shawn Dou (cute, heartwarming modern romance; she's good at that, and while SD isn't one of my favourites, I could see them together) Jing Tian with Hu Ge or Huang Xiao Ming (suspenseful mystery where they don't trust each other at first; is she a femme fatale, is there something dark and dangerous behind his elegance?) Qin Lan with Yang Shuo (put them in something intense and steamy and I'll be in heaven) Tong Yao with Hu Ge (something where she's smart and awesome and he wears suits would be good) Jiang Shu Jing with Yang Shuo (historical drama; princess in gorgeous dresses and pretty things in her hair, he as some kind of soldier or something...
