Hmm, I googled for pics and I still can't see it, but if you say so... :)

I only noticed just now that you added some writing to your profile! You say you like sports dramas, so I have a movie recommendation for you: Ping Pong. It's a good one! :)

Nope, it's Fujiki Naohito! :) You'll see him in Last Cinderella if you haven't before. Does he look like Okada Yoshinori? I had to look him up, and I can't see it, based on the photo on his profile. I haven't seen anything he's in (...errr, except in a guest role in a drama with Fujiki, lol) but I recognize some of the titles on his lists. Ah, he also has a guest role in the last ep of Itoshi kimi e that I'm currently watching!

Oh, okay, I see. :) I haven't watched anything like that.
*lol* Yes, there are exeptions to the "short is better" rule!

Yeah, I know - most dramas that I've watched had 9 to 13 episodes, and usually I feel that that's enough. I don't think I would have started something long like Amachan if the episodes hadn't been so short, only 15 minutes! But what's Tokus?

All of them are on my PTW list, I'm glad to know you like them. Now I just have to decide which one to watch first. Probably The Queen's Classroom or Kekkon Shinai.

Onna Nobunaga is good, but I liked it more in the beginning. (There are two long episodes.) I think I'd have liked it more if it had been an average length drama, with more details and character interaction, instead of going from this battle to that, with lots of voiceover comments. Hm, I can't explain very well, but I did find it interesting. Amami Yuki is great as the woman who has to act like a man without ever wanting to be one. For some reason I also really enjoyed Kato Koyuki's supporting character.

Haha, that's great! :) I felt like I had to write it, because people have asked me how come I have so few Korean titles on my list... *lol*

okay so every1 is saying this is a bromance movie, but in the trailer all I see is men kissing! are they gays…
Well.... personally, I wouldn't say he's "more handsome", but handsome in a different way from Fujiki Naohito. ;)
Yeah, I love Kyou Kara Maou. :)

I have noticed Anego on people's lists but I never put it on mine - I guess I should!

I wish they hadn't dated! *lol* By the way, I saw the forum thread about age gap manga, where Nagareboshi was mentioned. It got me thinking about what it is that makes the age gap theme interesting in a story. Personally, I didn't think about it at all in N; even though the actor is 15 years older than the actress, I barely noticed. This might illustrate the point that age is just a number, but I think I like it when the journey towards understanding this is a plot point. Like when the age difference is apparent at first but then, through character growth on both ends, prove to be irrelevant. But I wonder why, though! It might be that I like the theme of "forbidden fruit". ;) There was nothing of that in Nagareboshi, though, or not in that way.

Oh, really, was that a reason! I had no idea. Well then, I'm glad he's a good enough actor to make it look like his character was really into hers. ;)

Ah, I see! I understand your list now. ;) The reason I wanted to watch both of them was because of the main actors, but the reason they're on my favorites's list is because I ended up falling for the stories. But it's true that they have that in common, and I'm drawn to that theme, myself! (Well, both versions, older male or older female!) You'll probably like Last Cinderella!

As for Yankumi and Shin, I know, right!!! It's obvious that they're meant for each other. I thought it was just me, with my thing for teacher/student relationships, but when I mentioned it on the forum, I was told that they do end up together in the manga. That made my day. ;)

I first noticed the title on someone's list and thought it was potentially interesting. When I looked at the cast list, I was thinking: "Huh? Why have I never heard about this one? It looks like it should be fairly popular!" The synopsis isn't very helpful. Then I read the reviews and comments... and I guess I get it now.

Hi! The dramas I alluded to in the forum post are Koukou Kyoushi 2003, and Mitsu no aji (the second drama I ever watched). I'm always curious when I see that someone plans to watch something I like. You also have many dramas on your list that I'm not familiar with, so I have no idea if those two are something you would enjoy or not! :)

Hey, you have Wolfram in your user pic! :D
...Sorry, I got distracted there for a moment. (He's not my KKM fav character, but I love KKM!) I think that the key to prefering the drama over the movie or vice versa sometimes has less to do with the actual differences than preferring j-drama or k-drama. ;) Anyway, the bakers are like totally different characters if you compare them, but I think the Korean version is more true to the original (I like that!), and Kim Jae Wook is sooo handsome!
On Iki mo Dekinai Natsu Jan 11, 2014
Months after completing it, I still find myself thinking about this story from time to time. If there's any drama I'd love to see a special for, this would be it.

Yes, I see your point. That's what I mean about being conflicted, because while I could see all such good things (and the cute stuff, and all the effort he put into doing things) I disliked the possessiveness and violence... I know mine is an unpopular opinion. ;)

Yes, I do. :) So far, Kimi wa petto, Bambino, Gokusen, HYD - in that order. (I put Lucky Seven on hold, though.) I do love HYD, but to be honest, I disliked MatsuJun's character as much as I liked him. (I know, that sounds like I'm confused, but I really did feel conflicted.) Looking back on it, though, I feel that MatsuJun's portrayal of the character was a really good one, since I was somehow moved. :)

Hi! I just read your intro post, where you said you like Amami Yuki. I like her, too, but I haven't seen many dramas with her yet (most recently in Onna Nobunaga). I wonder what I should watch next? What's your favorite drama or movie with her? :)
