Yes, I wish I was better at cake decoration! I have a friend who does it like a professional, I guess she was just born with a lot of talent. :)
The longer the PTW list gets, the harder it is for me to choose what to watch next. But I have decided that Saturday shall be my movie night, and now I'm watching Sunny (Korean) because someone told me it's a good one.

I like cooking shows, too! Sometimes I've cooked afterwards, but mostly I don't...
I didn't know it before, but there are so many cooking-related dramas! It surprised me that it seems to be a whole genre on its own. :) It'll be interesting to see how many closeups on amazing cakes there are in My Name Is Kim Sam Soon. ;)
As for Antique, the move seems to be WAY more popular than the drama, I can't have any opinion on that yet (then again, k-drama seems to be more popular in general, at least here on MDL), but without giving away any spoilers, there were one thing about the drama that I found slightly disappointing and strange... so I don't know.

*lol* Well, to start with, I wanted to watch because the story sounded nice and after Bambino, I wanted to watch something else cooking-related... you have to make your choices based on something, right?! But I've got to say, I kept watching more for Fujiki Naohito's lovely face and cute smile more than for the cakes. (Maybe almost as much for the cakes... but as for the other guys, well, there were nothing wrong with them, they were just nothing special in my eyes.) He plays the part of Kim Jae Wook; I just looked him up, and you're right; I can see the hotness there.

Haha, yes, it IS about 4 hot guys baking cakes (well, it depends on how you define "hot", I'd say "cute"), but those cakes are to die for!! Seriously, I thought about cakes almost constantly while I was watching it. ;) I also searched for a trailer for the j-version because I wanted to show a friend, I guess there isn't any. I might watch the Korean movie sometime, just to compare.
Thank you for reading! :)

Oh, that's right - no crazy clingy stalker-girls, that was another thing I appreciated with HnoH. But I couldn't like the female lead... maybe I'll finish it someday.
Yes, it's another version Antique Bakery! From what I've heard, the plot is somewhat different from the anime and the Korean movie (I haven't watched those, but it sounds like they changed some important parts) but I enjoyed it.

Well, I haven't finished Hotaru no Hikari yet (ahh, I know everybody loves it but I found it annoying...), but his character was what I liked the most in it. I probably wouldn't have noticed him in HYD:Final either, if I hadn't seen him in Last Cinderella and H no H shortly before, his was such a small role! But I began to really like him in Antique, because his character was so cute. :)

That's good for you, I had a lot of time this summer so I shouldn't complain!
Yes, I like Control, but I mostly watch it for Fujiki Naohito... ;) It's a pretty average crime-solving drama in my opinion: smart guy helps the police, the police dislike having an outsider around, but somehow they all get along while catching criminals, etc. So, nothing unique, but it's good if you like the genre.

I read about Galileo and I think it sounds like something I would like. I'll also keep those other titles you mention in mind! It's great to talk to people; it gives me new ideas and broader horizons. :)
It was awhile since I watched something that I felt I absolutely adored, even though I do like the dramas I'm currently watching. But I don't know if I should start something new now, since I don't have a lot of time to watch dramas at the moment! That's too bad... so many things I want to watch!

Haha, one of the few female leads you never felt the urge to punch sooner or later, I understand what you mean! ;) This makes me want to watch Galileo. :) I feel the same way: so many dramas I still want to see! Well, compared to you I haven't seen very many yet!
You don't think I would like them? Well, I don't like super annoying characters, stories that are too full of melodrama or too silly, or plots that don't make sense... I've heard lots of people sing "Nodame Cantabile"'s praise so I'm curious about it. On the other hand, I know some people prefer the anime so I don't know what to do! Anyway, I do want to watch something with lots of music in it.
Yeah, I love "Bambino", there's not a lot of romance, but good friendships, and I don't know, some people might find it boring, but it made me happy to watch it. I even wrote a review for it because I liked it so much! :)

I haven't seen Shibasaki Kou in any other role yet, but I really liked her character Sae in OD. (Oh, and the other day when I was in a grocery store, I saw a woman who looked just like her! *lol*) Have you watched any other good dramas or movies about music? Before I watched OD, I also thought it would be depressing, but it isn't. :)
Yes, I guess most people do that at least sometimes! :) That's how I discovered "Bambino!", because I wanted to watch something more with Matsumoto Jun, and it sounded good to me because it's about cooking. I like that. :) (Only problem is, sometimes one's preferred actor/actress is in some not so good movie... well, I'd drop it if that were the case, I won't sit through something I dislike just for the eyecandy.)

"My name is Kim Sam Soon" was recommended to me as a good first choice; the person who said seems to understand my taste, so I trust the recommendation. :)
I'm still so new in "Dramaland" that I don't really know which dramas many people have heard of or not; I just watch whatever I think sounds interesting... okay, sometimes I also base my choice on the actors in it. ;) For example, "Orange Days" is one of my favourites so far, but I have no idea if its awesomeness is a well-known fact, or if it can be called "a hidden gem". :)

True, I prefer j-dramas, because I haven't watched anything else yet. ;) I'll probably watch my first real Korean drama soon (I watched one that is a Korean/Japanese collaboration). I'm not really sure about what's mainstream or not, but you could be right. :)
Dropped it, because it was impossible to like, mostly because none of the characters were sympathetic. They weren't all evil or bad, just strange. This story didn't make a lot of sense to me. That's probably why I've not seen more than five episodes uploaded anywhere, although there are eleven in total.

Hi! Of course it's ok. :) Thank you, and nice to meet you! :)
I just watched the first episode, and I'm not sure what to think of it yet. Interesting and funny? Too silly? Not interesting enough? Is it worth watching because Fujiki Naohito's character is hot and kinda cool? ...

Well, I do watch romance but it's not really my favourite genre. It depends on how it's done, I guess, and if the story has other themes as well and if the romance is not too stupid. For example, I haven't been able to finish Hotaru no hikari...

Hi, I have noticed that you have reviewed some dramas that I have also watched/been interested in watching, so I went to check out your profile just to see who you are. Great to see somebody with actual thoughts on their profile. I so agree with your #2! I don't get why people like the "bad guy gets the girl" plot, it's so stupid! And #4, I understand your feelings! (I do respond to friend requests, but they seem pointless and random most of the time.) #5 *lol* I didn't know crossdressing was a cliché, I've only seen it once (in The Tempest which I loved). As for your other notes, I don't have enough experience to have an opinion. I agree about #3 in theory, but the only actress I've seen more than once so far is Nakama Yukie and she's obviously wonderful. :) I have never watched anything Korean, but your #1 comment confirms my suspicion that it's best to stay away from the romance.
Hm, I think this drama is pretty interesting in many ways, and the characters are very likeable. I wonder why it isn't more popular? (It has only been scored by 213 users; that's next to nothing compared to some more well-known dramas...) Maybe because the title is a bit off-putting to viewers who still are a lot younger than "around 40", hmm? I enjoy it a lot, anyway! And Fujiki Naohito's character is incredibly adorable and sweet and cuuuute! Don't you just want to hug that guy?! ;)
