Haha, well, it does make you sound super respectful of him. :)
I saw him first in Last Cinderella, I didn't like Tachibana at first, but he grew on me! (But I came to prefer Hiroto actually!) The 2nd time I saw him was in Hotaru no hikari. I really like his character but I put it on hold because frankly I found Hotaru way too annoying!! (Do you like H no H better than LC? I find them similar, but LC is so much better imo. I found LC rather boring to start with, then I loved it. With H no H it was the opposite.)Then when I watched HYD: Final where he has a small part, I was like "hey, it's that guy again!" It made me want to see more of him, so I began watching Antique. For some reason, I was just smitten with his cute, sweet softness in Antique and now I just want to keep watching this man! :)
I haven't seen Shibatora but it sounds like fun so I put it on my PTW list. :)

Thanks. I really do enjoy it! :) My most recent enjoyable discovery is that Fujiki Naohito is also a singer. I only realised that the other day. :)
Haha. Even if my mind lives in Dramaland, my body lives in Sweden. :)

Aha, it was that comment! :) I only asked because it's just interesting to see where people are coming from. Yes, I agree, we have to stick together! :)
I think you're right; I'll not watch that movie. I'm sure there are plenty of other, better, movies and dramas to watch... After all, I still consider myself a newbie in "Dramaland" since I've seen relatively few dramas during the five months I've been a self-proclaimed drama addict, so I think I still have things to discover. :)

Hi, nice to meet you! Thanks for the friend request. I wonder what it was that made you want to add me as a friend? :) I see that we have some favourites in common! :)
This is well-written and interesting. I haven't seen most of these dramas, but in general I feel the same way: I nurture "a strange fascination for couples that never became such". I often find myself shipping non-canon couples, to the point of wondering if there's something wrong with how I look at things compared to everyone else, lol. So thanks for writing!
I haven't watched most of these (clever, not mentioning titles), but OMG, YANKUMI/SHIN!! So disappointing. I was told that they did become a couple in the manga, though. That's some consolation. :)And I understand your feelings about Kanzaki Nao/Akiyama. I've only watched the 1st season and I didn't think about it much, but yes, I can see it.
If this were my list, I would have added: 1) Makino Tsukushi/Hanazawa Rui. I know; a VERY unpopular opinion but it's the way I feel. 2)Ono Yusuke/Tachibana Keichiro and 3) Mazuru/Choukun.
I really don't know what to say. I think, I didn't want to see Fujiki-sama's acting like that :D Come on, it was…
lol, I never planned to watch this movie, but then I realized Fujiki Naohito is in it (plus, Rui is my favorite character), so I went to check out this page. Seeing all the comments and reviews, I'm thinking that I probably shouldn't watch it after all!
I'm watching him in Antique now; it's the fourth time I see him (even though his role in HYD the movie was very small, it still counts!) and I think I'm starting to like him! :) He was hot in Last Cinderella, likeable in Hotaru no hikari, and almost impossibly cute in Antique. He looks so... soft. :D
Hm, as I'm typing this I see the last line of the list of movies... I never planned to watch the 1995 version of HYD, but if he's Rui.... :)
I watched Gokusen 1 after I read this the first time (who finds Yankumi "annoying"? *lol* I adore her!), and I finished Tempest tonight. That's why I came back to your stalker's guide, to get some help deciding what to watch next, by reading your opinions and descriptions. :)
I am watching ep8 right now. I was thinking, okay, so the king knows the truth, now he MUST make "Son Neion" return! Ah, I'm relieved! *lol* This drama makes me have so many feelings.... :)
This gives me so many feelings! 1) Nakama Yukie is amazing <3 2) Mazuru is a very intelligent person! 3) Jyo Teigai is evil and creepy... 4) The Satsuma samurai is sometimes very cool and sometimes... just another man who doesn't know what it's like for a woman. omg. 5) I feel sorry for Choukun but I like him. 6) I think I ship Mazuru/Asakura. 7) Except when I feel that I ship Mazuru/Choukun! ...I'm only on episode 6 so far.
Very impressive stalker guide, since you really have seen a lot of his roles. :) I know that I've seen him in Gokusen, Orange Days (one of my favourite dramas so far!), but I have to confess I don't remember this guy's face from Hi wa mata noboru that I recently watched...
I have only been watching j-dramas for a few months (it feels like way longer though *lol*), but I've already learned that "Kisses in Dramaland" is an interesting topic many people have opinions on. ;) I haven't watched any of your examples, but I've already seen two "falling kisses" (Hana yori dango and Last Cinderella), it's very silly but also sort of fascinating that they do this in so many dramas... :)
Didn't really liked it.Ban isn't a good character.Isn't he suppose to have learn how to work in a restaurant. It…
No, actually, he isn't supposed to have learned how to work in a restaurant, or not a restaurant like Baccanale anyway. He has only been working part-time in a smalltown restaurant for like a year, while the other chefs at Baccanale are professionals who have had lots of experience and/or formal instruction. That's why they call him "Bambino", because he's like a little kid experience-wise. :)
Actually, I don’t understand why Kitamura Kazuki was listed as “unknown role” until I edited the page... Of course I loved the main character Ban (MatsuJun), but I also appreciated Jonamine (Kitamura) a lot. His sparkling, easy-going personality has depth beneath the surface and even though he's not the most important person at the restaurant, he's one of the characters who keeps the drama together. The senior chef Kuwabara (Sasaki Kuranosuke) is sort of his opposite personality-wise, and I liked their friendship with each other and the owner's daugther. Although this was not the major plotline, their interaction was something I really liked.
