No problem, I'm always glad to have new friends. :)

I'm glad you found some interesting-looking titles in my list. :)
Yes, it's a shame that there aren't very many such dramas. Maybe it's easier to have "controversial" themes in anime/manga because it's easier to create alternate universes that way? On the other hand, there's already so many dramas based on manga... but maybe it's easier to play it off as "fantasy" in an anime, but same-sex romance in live action would be too much "in your face" for the audience? I don't know; I don't get it at all. I know at least one case where they made a gay anime character straight in the drama version...
Have you seen the anime Aoi Hana? It's really good. I've been told it's THE best lesbian themed anime out there. If there's only one such anime where the characters are realistic and the romance is believable, it's no big surprise there's nothing at all when it comes to drama...
I watched a short part of this on YouTube. It looks like it's a sad story - one girl has to transfer to another school because there are rumours about her and her mother won't stop crying, another girl would like to come out to everyone but she feels it's too much for her to handle. Poor girls.

Hi there, it looks like you're new here! Maybe you want to be friends? :)
I enjoyed this drama a lot! It was slow-paced but never boring, a very interesting story. After completing it, I rewrote parts of the synopsis, seeing that a lot of people, including the reviewer, got the wrong expectations from the way it was written.
Hm, there's no review for this drama! I should have written one after I watched it. I don't think I can do it…
I feel tempted to write a review now. But since you feel that way about it, why don't you write it? :)
Arata won an award for best supporting actor for this role, actually. :) I feel that his character is as much a main role as Eguchi Yosuke's though... but I guess that's always the case when a supporting character owns a drama! Anyway, I'll definitely mention this in the Stalker's Guide I'm currently writing. :D
This is a pretty brilliant article. :) For me, the first stage lasts the longest, I can be SO dazed! I suppose I also go through stages two and three, but the other ones before I finally accept aren't so bad (I never re-watch). Then again, I have not yet watched your beloved Bridal Mask... and now I'm afraid that I'll never get over it if I do watch it. ;)
Kimi wa petto and Orange Days are examples of dramas that I have deep feelings for.
I agree that all the reasons listed can justify our addiction! :) I'm interested in what you say about Greek history and culture; sounds like a fascinating topic if you decide to write an article about it! (As for myself, I'm Swedish, and I've never seen a reference to Swedish culture in a drama, but they played "Silent Night" sung in Swedish in the first episode of "My Name Is Kim Sam Soon" - that was unexpected! *lol*)
I haven't seen most of these (but I agree his performance in HYD2 was very good, but that's one reason why I enjoy reading Stalker's Guides - to learn something. Yours is well-written and informative.
I was thinking of writing a review, but I was too lazy... then I realized my opinions are almost exactly the same as Akki's anyway, so there's no need. Great acting, good story (but more of the characters' lives would have been good), great ost, but sometimes predictable cases - yeah, that sums it up pretty well! I enjoyed it, I rated it 8 though. Crime is not my favourite genre. BUT I loved Fujiki Naohito's character; this was a very good role for him!
This was a very interesting drama. I enjoyed it a lot, even though almost all the characters were terribly annoying at times... few of them seemed "normal" and a few things seemed pretty unrealistic to me, but somehow, that didn't bother me as much as I would have expected. And Koga? Of course, what he did was "wrong", but not as much as his doctor, imo. I watched this because of Fujiki Naohito, but I stayed because it's been a long time since I became this immersed in a drama.
Finally a stalker guide to hot Narimiya Hiroki. Not too long ago I watched him in Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003. It was…
I'm currently watching Kou Kou Kyoushi, and it made me remember this stalker's guide. I think that if you like J in Bloody Monday, you'll like him in Koukou Kyoushi! (I didn't like J at all, but that's another story.) Plus, it's a really good drama, even if most of the characters are more or less crazy.
