I just want to know peoples opinion… Who shared better chemistry with Yumi? Woong or Bobby…?
Woong, mos def. She never loved Babi and dropped him in a heartbeat. I'd like Yumi to 'find' herself. And lots of (rescue) cats and become a great writer, not of webtoons but of real novels.
I love how realistic this is - like Yumi has kicked Babi's arse to the kerb but still worries about 'pretty' she'll look if she accidentally runs into him.
welp I guess I'm one of the few ppl who is still enjoying this
I'm still enjoying it. A 30 year old woman acting like a 9 year old after too many sweeties gave me 2nd hand embarrassment but now she's acting more like a grown-ass adult - and maybe even embracing a bit of her dark side - it's making more sense to me. Plus I want to resolve the various mysteries.
Its fine to have rules, even DefCon1 type ones, but they might not make you happy long term. It's also normal…
No, she set her (long list of) rules years before - there's the scene where she's sitting with a friend, long before they started dating, where the friend is asking her "If he . . . would you break up with him."
And if it's to do with Woogi, she's now punishing Babi for something that happened 2 boyfriends ago? Would it be OK for a man to be neurotic and controlling (thought control) with his current girlfriend because 2 girlfriends ago another woman cheated?
I don't understand why people are hating on her. She had her rules and things she won't endure in a relationship.…
Its fine to have rules, even DefCon1 type ones, but they might not make you happy long term. It's also normal to be 'swayed' or 'shook' by other people (as Yumi was by Woong when she met him on Christmas Eve). What you do with that attraction - which isn't something entirely inside our control - is what makes a cheater (or not). Both Yumi - when she met Woong and Babi - when he moved - chose their existing relationship. But they are different people. Babi trusted, Yumi didn't.
I do agree they are not a good match in the long term, though. From Babi's POV it would be exhausting to be with someone so neurotic all the time; someone who thought their rules, conceived when they were a teenager (and had never been in a relationship) to be more important than your significant other.
I love the premise (Prison Playbook is in my top 10) and some of the slated actors . . . and then I read that FL is old screechy toddler tantrum herself Hwang Jung Eum . . .
so at the end was Wang So remembered as the greatest king of all or what they call "the bloody monarch" ??
A bit of a mixed bag. He was mainly concerned with strengthening his own power base, so while he instigated many reforms (and invented the civil service exam) he also "killed nobles and relatives recklessly". He did have a bunch of kids with his half-sister and also married his half-neice, though, so he at least got some family time: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwangjong_of_Goryeo#Legacy
Does that mean its a completely made-up King/Queen/Prince who never actually existed (e.g. 100 Days) or a fictionalised account of a real person/persons (like Moon Lovers or Love in the Moonlight)?
If she wasn't a violent cop, acting illegally, I'd have more sympathy with that argument.
Not just rude and obnoxious but she's ACTING ILLEGALLY. Cops, even in Korea need things like warrants and reasonable cause etc. And you can't continually punch/kick/hit a civilian because your vanity has been punctured. I'm not saying all cops follow these rules (not even where I live) but its not 'funny' when they don't, its seen as a massive problem.
It would be fine if the plot was that she was a corrupt cop (along with the violence and illegal searches she'd be on the take, etc) but we're meant to believe she's "righteous". It's very bad. lazy and contradictory writing.
