it's okay that some people can't act
I'm not harder on women. I can list the male actors who I think are wholly/mostly crap if you like. I just mentioned Song Hye Kyo because she's a particularly egregious example of poor acting - she literally has the same, dead face whichever emotion she's expressing - and because the one who relentlessly screeches 'hater' mentioned her first.

The summary is slightly misleading. They made too big a deal of things that get resolved pretty fast and don't…
Given the actress looks her age (30), irrespective of her character's age, I think it was a mistake to make a big thing about her being 'younger' than a man who looks pretty young. They they compounded that by pretending in the first episode that she looked like a child - all that "Where's your Mummy?" stuff. Apparently in the original story she first met him when she was 13 and the then again at 21(?) so it looks like the writers/casting people of the drama didn't account for the change. Its not a massive deal - I'm still mostly enjoying it - but it was a bit of nonsense that they could have sidestepped.

There isn't a single type of person with Asperger syndrome/Autistic Spectrum Disorder but, acknowledging that, it looks like Park Eun Bin has made a genuine attempt to understand how it might affect people. Some of the ways of speaking and behaving (earphones, routine, the verbal tics) are uncannily like some of the neurodiverse people I know.

"Of souls and semen" would be a good alternative title.
Sorry, I was making the point that even if someone else's 'soul' (lets assume they exist) is inside you, the baby-making part is not soul, but body.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ ikr her voice LOOOOL
Quite a few kdramas are set up with this BS premise that X has sworn off men/women (when, in reality they're maccing on someone from the 1st episode) but the creepy, child voice is new to me.

Title Dear.M
The synopsis says "Ma Joo Ah has taken a keen interest in uncovering the identity of M while she has no interest in pursuing . . . any sort of romantic relationship" when, in reality, she is simpering over some guy she met on the bus in the first 10 minutes. And she adopts this silly, whispery voice whenever she speaks to him.

Title Plus & Minus
The bits that were good were decent. The bits that weren't were dreadful. The 'acting' of the yoke that just played with his own hair, for example,

i know the male leads birth secret is basically the driving force behind the whole story.... but i wish they came…
"Of souls and semen" would be a good alternative title.

I think because sheโ€™s still young, she is younger than the ML in the drama
The actress is 30 (and looks it, despite being very pretty). She doesn't look younger than the ML. Besides, 20-somethings still aren't little kids.

I was super excited about this drama at first. I love fantasy rom coms and this sounded like my type of drama,…
Yeah her '9 year old brain in a 30 year old body' schtick is wearing thin. Particularly if they're going to start copping off, she needs to tone that down. But otherwise I'm liking it.

Perhaps I should subscribe to Viki because with the exception of AOS, the others are not on Netflix. I'm NOT subscribing…
No point if you did. Disney+ have bought the rights for loads of dramas . . . but then don't make them available in most territories.

I'm in two minds about this. The FL's physical age (30?) and her behaved age - child/early teens - jar for me. It reminds me a bit of the uber-childish FL in Goblin in that respect, but worse because at least she looked 18. I guess they're going for "sweetly naive" but it's reading like "learning disability". Hopefully, that will improve in future episodes because I like the actors and the overall premise.
On Yumi's Cells Season 2 Jun 18, 2022
I really like how realistic Yumi's character is; how manipulative she was, planning for the umbrella-give-back meeting; how she rejected Babi - but almost immediately doesn't want him to go out with anyone else either and how she frosts him (bus scene) and then lies about it.

Love comedy, love history, love good action/fight scenes (they don't have to be 'realistic') and can tolerate romance if it's not too juvenile/simpering, love ensemble pieces. Really love Jung So Min, too.
