Such saddening news. :((( Been hoping to see him with a good drama as the lead and making it big. Two actors from Clean With Passion have passed now. T_T May he rest in peace.
I like all the leads for both Love Game and Pearl Girl, and I really hate seeing fans pull this kind of stuff.…
I'm not referring to you but OP, so you don't have to take it personally. And if you read my first line again, I only said "fans", not specifying which side, because I'm talking about fans in general. So no, I'm not denying that fans from both sides are doing things like this. I know there are, but I haven't gone to Love Game's page so I hadn't seen them yet, hence not commenting under them. It's just so happen I came to this page wanting to leave a comment, only to see things like that instead of people discussing the plot or sharing their thoughts on the story and characters.
You don't have to convince me that you're not a hater, because as long as you're not posting disrespectful/hateful comments just for the sake of creating fanwars, then I really don't bother. Everyone has their own favorite actor or actress, and ones they don't fancy. Even I have them too. But I won't go to an actor's or actress' page, or the page of their drama just to leave childish provocative comments like OP.
I myself am a fan of Lusi. I've been a fan for quite a number of years and I don't watch all her dramas either. You can be a fan and leave respectful criticisms. That's okay. You don't have to blindly love every project they do or every role they play. Everyone has their own preference. That's why I stressed that we should learn to respect each other (including the actors) and each other's different preferences and opinion.
Plus, there really is no point in comparing. Both shows don't share the same genre. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Charting is just a matter of preferences of audiences from different regions of the world. And whether it's the drama or the actors, popularity comes and goes. This applies to everyone. And I mean, EVERYONE. So I'm not taking sides here. I just hope people can enjoy the drama and actually FOCUS on the drama.
Love Game in Eastern fantasy is #1 on top airing chinese shows btw. I love how Lusi fans are finally understanding…
I like all the leads for both Love Game and Pearl Girl, and I really hate seeing fans pull this kind of stuff. It's just so childish.
If you wanna support Love Game, just comment under Love Game's page. Why come here just to annoy people and start a fanwar? Go find something more useful to do, please, and stop creating unnecessary fanwars. Let people enjoy their favorite dramas in peace and learn to respect each other.
I need a downvote button for this article. Fanwars are stupid. Both dramas have completely different plot and tone. Comparing both is like comparing apples to oranges.
Honestly loving this spin-off SO MUCH!! Being a big fan of both seasons of Stranger, I am absolutely appreciating the slight difference in this spin-off to suit Seo Dongjae's character better. The dark and heavy tones suited Hwang-Han, but it won't be good for highlighting Dongjae's character on its own, especially for the first season of his own spin-off. Maybe it could work for the second season (now I'm really hoping for one!!). But this spin-off is like the door to Dongjae's world. It needed that slightly darker vibe to align with the Stranger series, but also a little whimsical like Dongjae. And this spin-off definitely hit all the right notes.
Dongjae has always been an incredibly intriguing character. You hate him, but you also can't get enough of him. He just keeps growing on you. And before you know it, you're seriously hoping that he stays alive when watching Stranger S2.
I'm so happy the writer believed in the character of Dongjae and gave him a spin-off. Lee Joonhyuk definitely deserves the spotlight as Seo Dongjae and Seo Dongjae deserves the spotlight played by Lee Joonhyuk. I really hope we get a second season!!!
Omg Jeon Yeobeen in romcom? Yes please!!!! Girl will slayyyyyyyy~ I mean, she slays in every genre, but to see her back in comedy again would be nice. 🥹💖
Thanks! I've seen many say it'd be mid October as well. But it's best if they just announce the dates so I can decide better if I wanna subscribe or just wait another 2-3 days and I can watch it back home. If it were other platforms, I wouldn't mind it that much and just subscribe for one month anyway, but I'm not that fond of youku app coz it sucks. Hahahah
They've been dropping trailers but never announced the date. T^T I'm going on a holiday soon and I need to know which platform I need to subscribe to! LOL
I really like the FL in this drama. She's sure of her goal and she works hard towards it. ML was really mean to…
For me, I feel that their banters are their special way of getting to know each other. Both are speaking out of spite most of the time, but I'm sure they'll learn to be honest with each other as they discover each other's true feelings. Many things between them started off as part of their plan but that's also exactly how they'll grow closer to each other, which I really like.
Regarding her supposedly *too many* admirers as some have pointed out, I honestly think they are just blowing it out of proportion. When the FL gets about 2-3 admirers including the ML, people are annoyed and find it ridiculous. But when MLs in a drama have a whole city of ladies falling for him, it's totally believable??
Plus, FL isn't flirty with anyone. She totally keeps things business especially with her colleagues. She's got a job. How's she supposed to avoid interacting with those men at work when at least 90% of her colleagues are men? And she only interacts with another guy who isn't her colleague for investigation purposes and because they click. Even that, people don't like it and say she should keep a distance because she's married. Just coz she's married she can no longer be friends with any guy? Come on, that's ridiculous.
Even if people say the plot is set in olden days and people should act more conventional, it still sounds ridiculous. Why should these oldfashioned mentality still be applied in scripts now especially when they are all fictional to begin with? And to be clear, FL has acted VERY appropriately with every other guy other than the ML. The way she treats ML is clearly only towards him and no other guys.
Sorry for the long reply again, but I seriously think the FL doesn't deserve so much hate. I'm picky with my dramas and my FLs and MLs, but the FL in this drama is honestly one whose character I find very pleasing to watch and very refreshing. Sure, she's got her flaws, but so does the ML. So I'd say watch and judge it for yourself because viewers can be very biased at times. And that also includes myself since I could be biased towards the FL too. Lol.
