Excited with this cast!!! And so happy to see Cho Seungwoo back in a drama, albeit not the first main lead. Director helmed The Devil Judge, which is good, but the writers did Bulgasal............
BUT, they also did The Guest which is also good, so I'm slightly hopeful. Lolol

Though it's not a surprise to see more people liking the teen version more, I wonder if there are people like me who like the adults more?

Personally not a big fan of romantic high school dramas. It's just the way high schoolers think when it comes to romantic relationships that turn me off sometimes. But I gotta admit the teens in this drama have great chemistry and I do enjoy their scenes. But I'm far from preferring the story of their younger selves, and I like watching the adults more. Even though the adults are acting childish and petty. I love it. That's how adults actually are. XD Most adults don't act their age, to be honest.

Another reason I like the adult version more is because they have both been through a lot and experienced more in life. So naturally, their perspectives and feelings become more complicated and layered as they now have more concerns. Things are no longer black and white. That's why I like it so much.

Honestly, if the synopsis intrigues you, just go for it. I saw many criticisms but still decided to check it out,…
Tbh, GY-LDW ship is hard to beat though. Hahaha. Anyway, I don't wanna spoil it for you, but I hope you enjoy the drama overall!

There are dramas that I think isn't even worth the time checking out the first ep, but I feel that this is pretty worth it.
Heads up, though, there might be some explicit scenes in the first or second episode that might turn you off. I'm personally not a fan especially when those scenes don't add to the plot, but in this case, I think it really established those characters involved and their relationship, and how it contrasts with other characters.

ending was worse in novel
I'm curious about her side of the story too. At first I really despised her and thought she was scary, but as the story unfolded, I kinda pitied her too. Jeongwon was right, they were both absolutely broken. But she really is manipulative as heck. She needs therapy. They all need therapy.

Omg that's terrible. I really enjoyed the drama and the ending, but knowing how the novel ended, I'm liking the drama even more.

how come this has no buzz.. a bit worried to start
Honestly, if the synopsis intrigues you, just go for it. I saw many criticisms but still decided to check it out, and I couldn't stop myself from bingeing the entire show. It's not your usual mystery romance kdrama, and I'd say the essence of the plot is pretty heavy, but it's a good watch IMO.

what are you even watching here?you are getting so many things mixed up.ML never cheated it was FL's ex who was…
Not sure if that's the character of the ML in the novel since I never read it, but in the drama, the ML - Han Jeong Won, is a straight man. He is the one who asked the doctor to save the baby.
The bisexual character is another guy named Seo Do-ha, whom In-ji was supposed to marry but got exposed, and went missing for five years.

Person Song Jae Rim
Such saddening news. :((( Been hoping to see him with a good drama as the lead and making it big.
Two actors from Clean With Passion have passed now. T_T
May he rest in peace.

I like all the leads for both Love Game and Pearl Girl, and I really hate seeing fans pull this kind of stuff.…
I'm not referring to you but OP, so you don't have to take it personally. And if you read my first line again, I only said "fans", not specifying which side, because I'm talking about fans in general. So no, I'm not denying that fans from both sides are doing things like this. I know there are, but I haven't gone to Love Game's page so I hadn't seen them yet, hence not commenting under them. It's just so happen I came to this page wanting to leave a comment, only to see things like that instead of people discussing the plot or sharing their thoughts on the story and characters.

You don't have to convince me that you're not a hater, because as long as you're not posting disrespectful/hateful comments just for the sake of creating fanwars, then I really don't bother. Everyone has their own favorite actor or actress, and ones they don't fancy. Even I have them too. But I won't go to an actor's or actress' page, or the page of their drama just to leave childish provocative comments like OP.

I myself am a fan of Lusi. I've been a fan for quite a number of years and I don't watch all her dramas either. You can be a fan and leave respectful criticisms. That's okay. You don't have to blindly love every project they do or every role they play. Everyone has their own preference. That's why I stressed that we should learn to respect each other (including the actors) and each other's different preferences and opinion.

Plus, there really is no point in comparing. Both shows don't share the same genre. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Charting is just a matter of preferences of audiences from different regions of the world. And whether it's the drama or the actors, popularity comes and goes. This applies to everyone. And I mean, EVERYONE. So I'm not taking sides here. I just hope people can enjoy the drama and actually FOCUS on the drama.

Love Game in Eastern fantasy is #1 on top airing chinese shows btw. I love how Lusi fans are finally understanding…
I like all the leads for both Love Game and Pearl Girl, and I really hate seeing fans pull this kind of stuff. It's just so childish.

If you wanna support Love Game, just comment under Love Game's page. Why come here just to annoy people and start a fanwar? Go find something more useful to do, please, and stop creating unnecessary fanwars. Let people enjoy their favorite dramas in peace and learn to respect each other.

Honestly loving this spin-off SO MUCH!! Being a big fan of both seasons of Stranger, I am absolutely appreciating the slight difference in this spin-off to suit Seo Dongjae's character better. The dark and heavy tones suited Hwang-Han, but it won't be good for highlighting Dongjae's character on its own, especially for the first season of his own spin-off. Maybe it could work for the second season (now I'm really hoping for one!!). But this spin-off is like the door to Dongjae's world. It needed that slightly darker vibe to align with the Stranger series, but also a little whimsical like Dongjae. And this spin-off definitely hit all the right notes.

Dongjae has always been an incredibly intriguing character. You hate him, but you also can't get enough of him. He just keeps growing on you. And before you know it, you're seriously hoping that he stays alive when watching Stranger S2.

I'm so happy the writer believed in the character of Dongjae and gave him a spin-off. Lee Joonhyuk definitely deserves the spotlight as Seo Dongjae and Seo Dongjae deserves the spotlight played by Lee Joonhyuk. I really hope we get a second season!!!
