Anddd tbh whoever it was it's not their fault he got into that accident. I get he lost something really important…
He is not finding fault with her because he thinks she caused his accident or is responsible for it but rather he feels angry that despite claiming to want to date him, she doesn't remember him at all. She didn't even go to meet him in the hospital too. We know that it wasn't her but he doesn't know that.
I'm dying to know why he thought she was his date.
It's the daughter of the woman FL's Father take cares of now. She goes around saying in business parties that she is Chairman Nie's daughter that's why it caused confusion for ML that it was FL who wanted to date him.
If JiHyeok really gets a amnesia in the last ep as the theories say and Da Rim has to chase him, I will be the most happy one. At least then we can see Da Rim giving her love to Ji Hyeok instead of receiving it all the time as usual.
Are you forgetting his alcholism and the fact that he abandoned Mumu in China and wouldn't have even seen her…
Is it ever mentioned in the drama that he abandoned her in China? I also do not recall any scene or dialogue saying he refused to meet her there. If that is shown, please share the episode and timestamp because I might genuinely be forgetting. Their divorce happened when Mumu was very young, so it is natural that her mother had custody. But having custody is not the same as abandonment, especially when the drama never shows or states that he deliberately left her behind. Yes, Jin Zhao spending most of his life looking after him clearly shows he was a flawed and irresponsible parent, and I am not denying that. Both parents were wrong in their own ways and I agree with that. My point is simply that emotionally neglecting a child who did nothing wrong is more harmful in my opinion. As a spouse, the mom was better. As a parent, I personally think he was better. Both failed like you said, just in different ways
Mumu's mother was a demon in human form. I'm so uncomfortable and awkward watching last few episodes because of her. I don't think her father had many serious flaws tbh but just to shown her mother in a good light, they tried to make him seem bad.
I hope they do not go down the route of turning the SML into an obsessive, unhinged villain who constantly harasses the FL and tries to break up the main leads. He should be given minimal importance, just as he was in the novel. There should be no villain arc or revenge plot against the leads, especially the ML.
I really liked how this drama portrayed a genuinely good stepmother. She was the best parent for me in the whole drama. I hope more dramas show stepparents as good rather than demonizing them.
Zhuang Xu is too kind for his own good. His indecisiveness, hesitation, denial, and the way he overcomplicates…
Lin Zong is not really that angry at her because he thinks she caused the accident. Instead, based on what he knows, he believes she wanted to date him, so he thinks she should have at least visited him in the hospital. He also feels that she should remember him, which she does not because she never met him, but he does not know that. In his mind, she tried to get into a relationship with him but did not even remember him after his major accident. I agree that he is projecting his anger onto her for an accident she did not even cause, and he is wrong for that. However, calling him an entitled and self opinionated dickhead with a filthy CEO attitude goes too far. If he were really like that, he would have immediately tried to make her suffer after his accident, but he does not do that.
I just want to ask you something. Wen Yifan and Jin Zhao did the same thing, but you gave TFF a 10 while Speed…
I’m not bothered by your review, I was responding because your explanation directly framed one character’s actions as noble idiocy while excusing the other’s as trauma, and I disagreed with that distinction. I understand it’s your opinion and you are free to experience the story that way. I was simply explaining why I see it differently. Enjoy Shine on Me.

I think the context is being applied unevenly here. Wen Yifan did not disappear for six years because she was never given the chance to. Her best friend and Sang Yan were actively searching for her, and if they had not found her, we do not know how long she would have continued hiding. Jin Zhao, on the other hand, had no one searching for him except Jiang Mu. She was the only person who had ever shown him consistent love, so expecting him to react in a healthy way ignores his upbringing. Did he do wrong. Yes, just like Wen Yifan. But labeling his actions as noble idiocy while framing hers as trauma driven feels like a clear double standard. Especially when you have already said you dislike FL chasing ML but are fine with the reverse. That preference clearly affects the rating, so calling his choices noble idiocy feels less about morality and more about personal taste.
Addictive romance ruined by noble idiocy - MY opinion.EP 1-19: 100/10Ep 20-29: 2/10I posted my review but pretty…
I just want to ask you something. Wen Yifan and Jin Zhao did the same thing, but you gave TFF a 10 while Speed and Love only got an 8. At least hold both of them equally responsible, because they both left their partners even after promising not to make them sad, without any proper breakup or explanation. In both cases, the other partner had to pursue them again and again.
Mumu had a dream about him. U r asking about the swimming pool dreamy type photos ri8???
Thanks Chingu. Btw just had one more question, this drama doesn't have much angst right? I just finished Love on The Turquoise Land and want to watch a light show.
No he doesn't have that much role in the novel but I think he will have a major role in the drama otherwise how will they fill 36 episodes worth of drama. You won't even hate him after a point. He is just mentioned in the novel and might have about 8-10 scenes with FL.
It's like this FL has a long time crush on SML but he is quite insecure and treats her like dirt. Even his way…
I don't remember tbh. As far as I remember he doesn't confess due to his insecurity but we as audience know his feelings but he will confess in the drama though because I saw a scene like that.
