People expecting NC scene full of raw, angry etc. sex. And they give what ? Sweet, emotional, romantic, passionate. 😭Almost like the rom-com feeling of the beginning.
They're soooooo playing with the viewers feelings ! I love it !
Do you think it's for nothing they're doing that ? 😭
Again mirroring...The drawing...The room with the deal...
Jamie being like Big Jane junior...
Big Jane still being this manipulative self and cynical person...
I see you series, I see you...Always the doubt...Always thinking...can he really trust you ? can we, as viewers, trust him ?
Who's the real one ?
His dark side, full of danger...
His sweet side...
This series going nowhere ?
Nah.
Like Big Jane being the psycho, this series is the psycho too...can be sweet...and....BAM ! dark, dangerous, is this the real side ? Were we fooled ? Making sweet love in a creepy room dedicated to his obsession ? And L' Jane enjoying it ? Oh yeah. A beautiful trap ? A golden jail ? Or the truth of a beautiful love having a second chance ?

I'm tired...

NC scene feels very natural ! Love it ! So we're discovering more of Big Jane world. And of course he's still quite the psycho lol In fact I like that they have not changed that "much". Because of course time won't erase personalities, inner conflicts, etc. The problems are still there. They won"t disappear miraculously. As usual, a transition episode, before the storm and conflicts coming again I guess ?

Of course, B. Jane is a huge red flag (the ost says it since the beginning). L. Jane knows it, thus the lack of trust and inner conflicts. You cannot blame him. His only flaw was to believe that every evil doing is because of Big Jane. Not "every" evil thing happening is because of B. Jane. Like a serial killer is not responsible necessarily of all the murders happening. And some opportunistic people use that to make those evil deeds, knowing people will blame the wrong guy.

A not so good guy is not necessarily responsible of every bad and evil thing happening. Responsability doesn't work like that.
A victim is not necessarily a perfect victim with no flaws. But they're still a victim.

Love the parallel between Big Jane making those contracts in college, and now doing those contracts, legally, while being a CEO 😭 I see you series πŸ‘€

And Little Jane still wants to be with him. That's the story. So people in that "choose your side" mind...there's no point. Both want each other so much and are ready to be burned alive for it. 😭

our kiss got delayed
Waiting for the delayed kiss then ! Will you also realize your dream Little Jane ? But I understand you. Reality, always reality -sigh-. You need to make money and help the family. Giving you a hug. Still hoping you'll try drawing again πŸ₯Ή

I can't wait for that kiss.
Do you really REALLY think there will be a kiss ? 🫩 I have trust issues with this series.

It's interesting how scenes are mirroring each other in episode 7. Things have not changed but at the same time have changed a lot. Both are obsessed with each other.

Is there going to be a time skip? Because in episode 1 it was clearly stated that the year is 2021.

What's interesting in the series is that they acknowledge everyone flaws and faults without judging.
Judging is for judges and they are not here to file a lawsuit.
Acknowledging is being aware and they are not here to make a romcom k-drama.

Jane Patrick, the "villain", is forceful, violent, manipulative, yet he can still love and feel heartbroken.
Little Jane, "the good guy", is kind and able to forgive but he uses his honesty/straightforwardness as a weapon, knowing where it hurts.

No need to take "sides". Let's just be the informed witness of a deeply flawed relationship, where imbalance of power and mistrust play a huge role in tainting it.

And Love in all of this ?
- it is not enough
- it is not always right
- it is not a magic eraser of imbalance of power.

Stop dreaming you emotional people !!!! 😈

Yeah but also why didn't he say that it was a bookshelf that hurt him. Like you walk out with blood running down…
No need for explanation. Jane Patrick almost strangling Put is him already guessing about what happens...After all, he knows Put is interested in Little Jane since the beginning, when Put tries to do a contract with him, in order to make him stay away from Little Jane...It's no use in fact.

This series confronts you with your own contradictions as a viewer. That's why it's so unsettling and uncomfortable.…
And I have to admit it. This episode was the most uncomfortable for me to watch. Not even episode 5, in fact, manages to do that.

As a viewer, since the beginning, I feel more sympathy for Little Jane. And after all the horrible things Jane Patrick has done...

But seeing Jane Patrick able to cry, to admit his love and letting go there...
I was conflicted.
I could not accept it.
I cry with him. I cry with them.
I was humbled.

Or maybe this is just cognitive dissonance ? 😭

And Little Jane has guts, indeed. The conversation in that car ? Into Jane Patrick's face ! What a character πŸ‘πŸ‘
"Have you ever tried to understand anyone else ?"
"Do I have to thank you for this ?"
"Do you even know that what you're doing is toxic as hell ?"

This series confronts you with your own contradictions as a viewer.

That's why it's so unsettling and uncomfortable. That's why it's SMART.

If you're blinded by Jane Patrick's character, you'll end up victim-blaming Little Jane.

But there's also another form of blindness.

If you're blinded by Little Jane's character, you'll also forget that even a "monster", a "devil" is a human being.

And that's a terrible truth.
