A villain that falls in the trap of another villain LOL I just hope she puts everyone in their place and makes…
It's only the first episode lmao we don't know how things are gonna turn out yet. It could go in a WILDLY different direction than most people expected. FLs always start off as dumb. It's k-drama law. 😂
She's considered Snow White and the other characters sorta play into that but make it modern? but IDK LOL Hopefully…
NO!!!! They did the body switching in "Woman in a Veil" and I HATED IT! Also, Snow White was done with Snow White's Revenge/Scandal, no? Baek Seol-Ah literally translates to Snow White in Korean. If Jung-Won "becomes" Young-Chae and takes over her life like a true villain, I don't see the death/rebirth happening. But... BUT. If Young-Chae dies somehow and Jung-Won is alive, maybe she's "reborn" as Young-Chae? Idk, my mind is grasping at straws right now lol
There’s no romance tag? Expected there would be. I’m all in for a ruthless heroine who schemes her way through…
Not all dramas need romance to me, but I don't mind it here... I guess. Sometimes it feels shoved in or unnecessary (and it sometimes even ruins a drama for me!)
Damn! This episode came out swinging out the gate! I really like it! I'm getting the vibes that Jung-Won is gonna be a villain. So we might have a villain vs. villain set up... interesting direction. It's like a reversal of the "villain takes everything away from the hero/heroine" daily drama trope. Now the "heroine" becomes evil and takes everything away from the villain/antagonist. Jung-Won slowly becomes a sociopath? Maybe the Korean title is indeed a reference to Ripley syndrome (which is a sign of sociopathy, btw.) Also, this drama has *MAD* budget. The sets, the directing, and the design are at a weekend drama level. I hope it doesn't go downhill. It's gotta stay like that. The acting is pretty good so far. I'm seeing myself root for Jung-Won to go dark and embrace it, THEN wreck all the villains.
But, a question. Why is one of the listed genres fantasy? That's so weird to me. And I'm wondering if Young-Chae will die (maybe because of Jung-Won herself?!), then Jung-Won really "becomes" Ju Young-Chae, since she doesn't wanna let go of the good/perfect life? So many questions, so many twists! I'm so excited to see what this new daily drama has in store for us. I'm enjoying it. 😁
Lee Shi-Ah gives me Park Hana vibes. I like it.
I'm also enjoying this drama so far!
